@Renfro not sure if you want to chime in here. Tomorrow I'll try to get what I would try to do with that budget/dimensions. But I really couldn't imagine not running a veg space/tent. Not only for convenience of breaking up harvests but preservation of banging Phenos.

I'm not sure a tent taking up 60% of the room space could be considered more discreet. But moving onwards, do you have a seperate veg space or only the 12x12 room? And do you have a plant count?

Every single plant phenotype has different wants for DLI and intermittent light intensity. And that can very heavily based on environmental factors and plant stage of development. So, there really isn't a standard metric for optimization.
