That's what I do mate, NFT nutrient film technique. Plants go in a Rockwool onto a covered flood table with a constant flow. After a month or so they hit the res and by the end it's like 40% dwc, 60% roots in nout but fresh air. The growth rates are mental.

no offence mate but that sounds horrendous for feeding hydro plants. What ppm is your water to start with? calmag is mostly an r/o water thing. If you're using tap you won't need much, if any at all. cal and mag are what make up most of the water ppm.

Not a soil grower so don't know what your ph should be but those are sweet mate. Change nothing. you shouldn't have to ph anything with organics anyway. It's one of the points of doing it :)

Post a pic of the plant mate. If it's coco or hydro I'll be able to tell you the correct ppm. If it's soil someone else be able to. Need to see the size to judge it, 700ppm probably spot on though :)

Oh and start ph at 5.7 and let it hit 6.3 before bringing it back down. Don't go under 5.5 or over 6.5.

Less is always best mate. Just follow the ppm. Keep it dropping a little from day to day and you're about as close to spot on as it gets. If ppm drops more than like 10% each day then up the nutes by 50%. Wait for the drop then repeat. If ppm rises at all then just add water (+ calmag If r/o)...

Hmm... Not sure to be honest, I grow reservoirs in the winter so I only need a £10 fish tank heater to keep it on point. During the summer I grow coco so I don't need to lower the temps of the res.
