PPM vs. nutes quantity instructions

Hi everyone,

I've been growing some plants indoor following canna bio nutes indication. According to their instructions, there is a certain amount of Flores nutes that I should give per liter. Yet, when I measure ppm the value remains at 700 and I'm in my third week of flowering. I was wondering if I should just add more nutes to reach a higher level of ppm or just stick with what is suggested by canna bio. Do you also face this issue of following instructions from a feeding supplier versus the actual ppm measurement you get out of it? How do you solve this issue? Thanks

Post a pic of the plant mate. If it's coco or hydro I'll be able to tell you the correct ppm.
If it's soil someone else be able to.
Need to see the size to judge it,
700ppm probably spot on though :)

Should I stick with 700 ppm. I'm using soil...and it's 65 centimeters high.
I'm not having any specific issue on the plant but I'm wondering how much more nutes I should give at this stage beyond what is in canna's instructions.

It's been years since I've grown in soil, but on my feed days I would water in with 700-800 ppm on a feed, water, water, feed rotation. Always had great results. I just got tired of hauling dirt and dealing with bug larvae.

Thanks, so you have kept it at that level? I keep reading of ppm values above 1000 in various threads to feed the plant in advanced flower so I am unsure if I should increase biocanna nutes...yet do not want to over-feed. Soil is working really nicely for me so far, also given this is my first grow I am still learning the basics... :)

Listen to your plants. Not other grower's opinions who are not in your garden. If the plants are receiving all of the elements they need at 700PPM and you show no deficiencies of any kind you have your PPM dialed in perfectly. Don't overthink it. 1000 is not an unheard of PPM in soil, but with a grain of salt. A friend of mine lives in Oregon. He has a 150 plant farm on his property in 350 gallon fabric pots. He feeds plants this size 1000PPM on a feed, water, water, feed regimen. The larger the plant the more elements it needs to grow. Feeding plants is like feeding people. The bigger they are the more they need. That's my buddy Todd in the picture. Monsters eh?

That's a great advice and wow, the plants in the picture are literally trees! I wish I was living with the freedom and space to go big outdoor ☺ Kudos to your friend in growing such beauties!

He's nuts. He's gotta use scaffolding to reach the top of the plants at harvest time. I hate trimming 12-18 every 12 weeks. He's invited my wife and I out several times around harvest season to help trim. We politely decline each time :)
