That's too much amber, even for most sativas. There are also some strains that don't produce much amber trichome, even when they're over ripe. That's why sometimes it's really illusory to judge the ripeness of a plant by ratio of amber/milky/clear trichomes.

I first look at calyxes, then sugar leaves. Trichomes always turn amber more quickly on sugar leaves, but honestly I never harvest by trichomes again. I just look at overall ripeness. You need to wait until the calyxes have swollen and pistils have receded.

I have more than 20 plants in flower and half of them are in early stage. Are you saying that there is absolutely no problem leaving bananas on plants?

Like I said earlier, my plant was ripe for harvest and I had no problem removing it anyway.

So I found a single banana on one of my flowers this morning. I chopped the branch immediately and moved it out of my room. The question is, can a single banana pollinate a whole room? Should I be worried about my other girls getting seeded? :-| :roll:

It's best that you adjust pH just before watering, because pH tends to rise a little overnight.
