It matters when the water is well buffered, a ph of 8.2 that isn’t well buffered your good. My houseplants look like shit, I never change the Ph of my well water, my pot plants I always do and they look great.

Stop feeding it mg and give it K

My soil lands about 7 ph, I lower water to 6 ph from 7.7. The 6 water balances the 7 soil somewhere around 6.5. It does help

yes I run my sips with synthetic nutes, but never in the reservoir, when you get into flower they are so thirsty that I can top water nutes in no problem. I run with a top layer of sand on soil. I fertilize with 800 ml so it doesn’t supersaturate the soil

K deficiency causes tip burn but it usually goes in further than just the tips. Epsom can lockout K as well. Get a good fertilizer that’s balanced in k and mg or check the stuff you have

Yeah agreed, also if you go with inkbird they have a low amp rating one and a high amp rating one so pick accordingly

Be very careful with smart plugs when using space heaters, some are only rated to 800 w or 1000 w, space heaters can be above that at 1500w. It could be a fire hazard as I found my plug melted.

Yup I concur, it’s a lockout of K because of too much Mg. Burnt leaf edges and tips with yellowing and clawing is K deficiency. I had the exact same thing and cut out the Epsom salts and bumped up the K and it resolved itself K deficiency symptoms:
