What size space you going to light with them? do you realize that by diode count those 4 are equivalent to NINE QB 288! that's a PPFD of hell guessing, 2000+! Using the 288 specs I estimate 260,000 L/W and at 75 watts per board the μmoles/joule is 2.7. anyway you look at it this is going to...

I moved the Humboldt Trainwreck to a tent and transplanted her into a 2 gallon pot. i'll take clones when she's big enough. For now, she'll stay here under a QB 324 running at 130 watts. She's growing in soil and I fed her Megacrop 2.0 today, 450 ppm at 6.5 ph.

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Trying to keep busy so I got some QBs out of storage ( yah I'm a QB hoarder.....lol ) and built a new light for one of my cabinets. I put 2, QB 288 v2 on a slate double and made a very simple frame ( just 2 rails ). I screwed 2 pieces of wood to the sides of the cabinet for the rails to rest...

do you have a volt meter? the driver does that when its either over voltage or over current. Check the voltage it may need to be adjusted up. Could be a defective driver also.

No, multiplying by 1.1 gives the same answer as calculating the amount of current consumed by the efficiency loss, then adding that 10% efficiency loss to the theoretical power draw to give you the actual power draw at the wall. I'm not interested in the Dc side, I'm discussing the AC side, as...

54v is a percentage of 120v. 120/54= 0.45 or 45%. The AC side will use 45% of the 2.1 amps. 2.1 x .45 = 0.945a 120v x .945a= 113.4 watts. now an actual reading at the wall will be more because of driver and wiring losses. Running at 50% capacity, the driver is less efficient than it is when...

But they are using HLG's product name! They can call them whatever they want but using another company's product name/brand is theft of intellectual property. Quantum Board is HLG's property. Buying these things is like buying fake Rolex watches from the trunk of some shady character's car...

China doesn't give a shit if you have a patent or not. They steal from any company who has a successful product, even steal from each other. Half of the shit on ebay and Amazon are Chinese counterfeits. And they get away with it because there is no legal recourse. And NOT ONE LED product has UL...

These companies are all thieves. You don't even know if they even use any Samsung chips at all. Remember the old burpul lights? They ALL claimed " Cree and Epistar chips". NOT A ONE had a Cree LED on it!. They have no truth in advertising laws. And as for Epistar chips.. well they are the...

Depends which type driver you have. A 185H-54 will divide the voltage where a 185H-C1400 will give constant voltage. I have 4 QB 304 in parallel on a 320H-C2800.

Sorry, I misspoke. I meant they are designed for series cicuits. If you wire in parallel you divide the voltage as well as the current with this model of driver. I know this to be fact as I had two QB120 wired to a 80H-54. The QB 120 is 24 volt board with a 60 watt maximum adjusted the voltage...

These drivers are designed for parallel circuits. Yes if you connect just one COB or QB it will get the maximum current available! the current is divided between the QBs, COBs, etc. So you want to connect your leds to a driver like this as a pre-wired parallel circuit to prevent damage to a QB...
