The only way to run the Diablo maxed out would be with a custom heatsink. With HLG's heatsinks your limited to 150 watts per board.
I don't know why they limit the driver recommendations other than to discourage someone thinking they could run a single board on that driver.
I run my light on a...
here is something a little different for you. Found her in the greenhouse raised bed hiding under my Auto Mazar. Transplanted her into a windowbox planter about the middle of October. She's under my converted T5 light, I replaced the T5 bulbs and used the housing and reflector to mount my HLG (...
Just scored 4 more Diablo boards! Going to replace my pre-production QB 304s with them. I run my current Diablo light at 400 watts, and even at that level it will stomp most lights out there. Based on HLG's specs, I estimate I'm getting 1000ppfd at the canopy. Not sense in running it any harder...
Because FN and I have been friends for sometime now and PM mean PRIVATE message... if we wanted it in public that's were it would be. Rather a rude question IMO.
Ohh, I don't know, maybe the statement from HLG saying Don't Run them parallel, that's why there are no more DIY Diablos, running them in parallel was burning out the red LEDs. If I'm wrong, prove it!
Except that you CAN wire Rspec in parallel as well as series. It's only theDiablo you can't wire in parallel. HLG's QB guide for Rspec shows them wired in parallel as well as series
Actually, yes they do..... I had a two week old board the connectors fell of from a hung and operational light, that was wired in parallel! Thought i was going to toast my other boards. HLG replaced it right away.
Yodadweeb is RIU's most famous troll, he has been blocked by more people than all the other trolls combined! Momma must have him off the tit again.......
