    auto characteristics

I've grown thousands of autos and probably more than 100 strains and if your buds are fluffy and it's not genetic, your environment is off. I also grow photoperiods and THE hardest, most dense buds I've grown have been from autos. Keep the temps between 70-78F, minimum 700PPFD, nutes dialed in...

    auto characteristics

Without a doubt, it's the outdoor environment. And yes, indoor grown auto buds, in a good environment, will make buds indistinguishable from photoperiod bud. Remember too, genetics affects the bud structure and characteristics. Many Sativa dom strains have fluffy buds, it's not a fault, it's...

Introducing CobKits.com - specializing in DIY and Citizen COBs

The CXA 3070 was a great cob in its day, but modern cobs are far superior, depending on what size heatsinks you have, an upgrade might surprise you with the increase in light and efficiency. What driver to choose depends on how much wattage/heat they can handle. What size heatsinks do you have?

Interesting. Do you have 3000k photos to compare this with? Have all plants been from the same seed batch? I'd like to see this done more scientifically!

Also worth noting, every digital timer I've had has failed in less than 2 years. All my timers are mechanical now, never seem to have a problem with them, the oldest is 5 years old.

I'd also first check every wiring connection. I had more than one HP customer who ended up paying HP $140/hr to have me push in a plug or fix a loose wire. Does it happen right after turning on or after it has been on a while? Thermal issues are sometimes related to loose/bad connections.

Meanwell drivers have a 7 year warranty and I believe all you need is the serial number. Also, could be the timer. Have you tried it plugged into the wall? It's not the boards, they either work or they don't.

Sounds like a driver issue. Now do you have 2 boards per kit? Is just one kit doing this? If two boards, how are they wired? What model driver? Also, were did you get the kits? I don't remember HLG selling this kit with QB 304 boards

I asked StephenJ and he said they were fine, because I too questioned that, didn't seem to make sense to me. But I'm running dimmed anyway, because seriously, running it harder would be a waste of electricity in a 4x4 tent without CO2.

I like redundancy. I'd run a pair of 240H-54 with three on each. I've had a couple drivers die on me, I'd rather run 1/2 a light than none! My Diablo light runs on a pair of HLG240H-C2100b dimmed to 200 watts per pair.
