great, i'm subbed: two comments: 1. I think 5gl is much more than they can use. It's a waste of space and water, also not so healthy for your plants maybe. 2. 620 watts of cfl... you know that is totally counterproductive right? why not HPS?

my suggestion is to put the seeds where they will grow paper towel = unnecessary risk for a beginner

update: I continued flushing with 4.0 pH water, and as the EC went below 0.5, pH started rising. with 0.2 EC I get water IN @ 4.0, and OUT @ 7.0! would you believe that?

different plants have different sensitivities for less than ideal conditions. use some baking soda maybe to try and up the ph. but yeah seedlinghood is rough. give it a couple days i guess.

all the people who lol dont know much about growing. Removing fan leaves is an accepted practice, and the guy who said something about 35% killing the plant... that's not true the problem here is of course the roots not the fan leaves, if anything, your plants want as little leaves as possible...

I think glann your problem is not moisture but lack of fresh air. get more ventilation and air circulation in the room, as well as extraction.
