If you grew them from seed and were transplanting them into 5 gal containers ... what did you use root hormone for????? Root hormone is to get a cutting/clone to grow roots, there is no reason at all to use it on a seed grown plant that has roots ... unless maybe you want to kill it.

It is definitely NOT a root clone (or whatever you want to call it) there are clearly cotyledons there so whatever it is it has grown from a seed.
