Ramblings of a Grumpy Old Dreamer

I'm learning as I go and the next attempt will be in a day or two. I nearly had it the last time and am still confident that I'll get it working. I have a couple of Red Dragon clones that should produce a nice healthy scion, so I'll try to stick a Red Dragon on L.S.D. I'll have to take a few...

A good way to get an impression of the quality of the light and the quality of the person selling the light (especially on eBay) is to have a look at the other chinese made crap that they are selling. They would offer zero after sales service and it would be a fair assumption that they don't...

my clone's roots are sticking out the bottom of pot help!!

Just because roots come out of the bottom of the pot doesn't mean that the pot is full of roots and the plant rootbound. Let them dry out a little and more roots will work their way through the soil mix looking for moisture. In fact, if roots don't come out of the bottom of the pot then you...

Personally I love Barney's Farm seeds, then again I do like Sativas. I have heard that Pineapple Chunk likes to stretch - I'll find out when I plant my beans. Not sure that I would call Barneys Farm wankers - they win enough cups to be doing something right, but they do seem to favour Sativa...

Just Thought I'd Throw Up Some Pics of Where I'm at Right Now

I drive past a house on my street and the smell is always strong and definitely nice buds, lucky the police love to have their windows up and the air con blasting. It's good that there are "smelly" houses around, gets people used to the small so if mine emits a little odor occasionally maybe...

Note to self Do not piss around with your plants when you are stoned. Was checking how my grafting was going last night and it seems that I may have been a little heavy handed, plus opening up the humidity containing baggie and not resealing it didn't help. The scion is droopy today and...

Producing Feminised Seeds Using Colloidal Silver

I'm definitely interested in how the Gibberellic Acid (Ga3) performs, might have to grab some.

emergency emergency!! terror has struck once more!

This may be found offensive by some, but ....? so, the pages of many bibles are made of very thin fine paper which can be sealed very well with saliva - make very nice joints. ... not saying to spit on the bible, but it works for me. edit: just realised that I used the word "very" three...

Nothing to stop you making some fem seeds from the Moms you are using for clones - if nothing else, it would be good practice and you would see just how easy the Colloidal Silver method. Is your vegging cab not performing well enough with the fluros - Kessils are great but I find they are...

In the 80's indoor growing wasn't very common, grafting for outdoor growing would really be pointless. Grafting to have multi-strain (or even multi-pheno) mothers that will be kept alive for a long time is something that Ed wouldn't have even considered possible in the 80's. Grafting the 2...

The original Red Dragon SCROG has been chopped - hanging out to dry. Yield is pretty small and I'll weigh it when it's done drying. Together with the trimmings and my 2 small seed bearing plants, I will have enough to keep me happy until the next lot gets harvested. The second Red Dragon...

I like your copper foil work - I've made a few leadlight panels in my time and I'm always trying different ways to express my artistic abilities. NIce and creative sativas are an artists best friend :-)

Just to update the 4 way Red Dragon SCROG ... it has been under 12/12 for 2 weeks now and is producing around 30+ colas. The 4 Magic Bud clones that were growing in small hempy pots are settling in to their new home in the large pot ... As soon as they recover from the repotting and...

I aim for a SCROG which is 2 foot in diameter for each flowering light, perfectly fitted to the maximum efficient footprint of the light. When I get my growing system running just right I will be happy with a 2 foot "disc" of colas per light - I can only smoke so much.
