Thanks for the replies everyone! I'm going to see what happens today and if nothing happens I think my lights are good for now!

Mine are actually 27 watts for some reaso I think I said 23. And okay good I stuck my hand on top and it didn't feel like I was burning.. I'll check tomorrow and see what happens. Hopefully she likes the closer lights :D

I moved them closer.. Probably an inch away now. She is almost at day 16.

Just so you know I'm in a pc grow box so space is limited... How close can the lights be without burning?

I'm doing a lowryder #1 again and it's at day 15. It's pretty short but it has small fan leaves (3 leaves each)... I'm using cfls. Anyways it wasn't growing upwards much.... Just the leaves were getting bigger. I moved the lights up a tiny bit hoping to stretch her a little so she will be...

Thanks man, I did a grow before this but in that grow it never took so long to germinate or sprout so I was worried haha

I just barely touched the casing and it fell off, so hopefully I start to see some leaves petty soon. It's about half an inch out of the soil!

Okay, I'll try the misting as well.. Hopefully it fell off by the time i check on it! This is the first time it happened, the seeds are about a year old as well so that may have something to do with it.

hmm alright, I think i will give it till tomorrow when i wake up. I saw the seed at top of soil for this whole day but it finally came above soil mid afternoon, so ill give it till tomorrow afternoon and if nothing happens ill try and soften it up and get it off. Thanks a ton man!

my seed popped through the soil today but it still has the shell on it....i dont see any leafs what should i do?

So I germinated a seed and planted it about Hal an inch down.. I'm growing in my garage, and it is cloudy/rainy outside. My thermometer said humidity was 85% and I am thinking that's just because it's rainy outside. What should it be and is there any way to get it down?

update: new seed is starting to germinate....see the little white tail starting to poke out, and the one that has been in the cup well its super soft, i put it in the paper towel to see if itll germinate as well..

Damn...that really sucks i hope atleast one of mine comes through..then ill just order a few new ones and freeze. So just to get this clear to make sure im doing it right, wet/damp paper towel, covering the seed as well, put in zip lock, put in dark place (in my case a cd case) and set on top...

In a drawer, ive read they don't need to be refridgerated as long as they are in an air tight, dark, cool place.

Ikept them in the little air tight thing they came in.... Kept in the dark
