auto pounders in a grow tent ?

7 pounds is conservative, you will probably be closer to 10+...

    Cloning Question

Yes it does, but they seem to remain more resilient than smaller cuts too. Probably just more stored nutes in the leaves etc. If there are a lot of leaves trim them back so it doesn't have to work so hard maintaining them and rooting.

    Help me please

No, you will be fine. I had this happen on my last grow 2 times for about 3 hours each and had no hermie issues. One Purple Kush hermied about 1 week before harvest but it is known to do so anyway. Am I reading it right that you are flowering your Autos on 12/12? You should be giving them...

growing different strains in same grow room

I am growing Autos in the same tent now with regular seeds but I am doing a breeding project and not as concerned with yield. The Autos will be fine under 12/12 they will just yield less. You could flower under 13/11 if you want the autos to do a little better but the regular seeds will take a...

    Lighting for newborn

I agree, the lights should be closer or they are going to stretch. Aluminium foil can cause hot spots and burn plants but not a huge risk with those lights. Air movement is important, put a fan in there if there isn't already.

    Germination Question!

Lots of different techniques, personally I soak then plant directly in soil about 1/4" deep. Use a seed starting soil or mild soil. Make sure there are no twigs or heavy soil clumps above where you plant the seed. Most pop the soil in 48 - 72 hours. 100% using this method with healthy/fresh...

    cutting problems

What you are trying to do is keep them healthy while they root. If they are wilting consistently then they need hydration, either high humidity or spray them to raise humidity. They need to be "forced" to search for water but they also need to be hydrated enough to survive the process...

    cutting problems

Been away for the weekend, sorry man. I think the only good way would be to build a simple frame over them and cover it with clear plastic. They might do ok by just misting them 2-3 times a day too. Trimming the leaves back will help them focus on root growth. Good luck

    Hermies & Feminized Seeds

Just anecdotal but I recently tried to make feminized pollen from a Jack Herer and it took almost 7 weeks to reverse. It was too late to use the pollen on my crop so not sure if was viable. JH is a very stable strain which is why I chose it... still have some pollen and will try it in a few weeks.

    Hermies & Feminized Seeds

You should do it, I just popped my first seeds I made. It is rewarding and interesting to see what traits come through in the crosses. I need to get my plant count down too... having a hard time letting go of the clones though...

    Hermies & Feminized Seeds

I am working on making some seeds for outdoor in a wet northern climate. So I chose Holland's Hope as one of the "dads", will be crossing to another HH as well as C99, pineapple kush, and a few others. Also working with autos for the first time (finishing early is important up here). So...

    cutting problems

I have no experience with DWC but plenty with clones. I would trim off the really nasty looking leaves and trim back the yellowing ones. The plant is working hard trying to support them. Looks like they are not under a humidity dome, try to raise the humidity. Keep temps above 75, a warm root...

question about my idea for a DIY carbon scrubber

I'm a big fan of DIY but I think a carbon scrubber is one of those things it is best to just buy. They aren't that expensive so DIY won't save much. Especially important if you are in a state where it isn't legal...

    Hermies & Feminized Seeds

Yeah, I have read it is a good idea to use different plants just in case the plant gets stressed after it makes the pollen but before the end of its life cycle (due to the hormones adjusting back etc) Makes sense to me too. I am making some feminized seeds now for the first time.

Late night at the cove -extra cheezy edition

That Microscope does a great job, really clear. Cool video. My lowest yielder is my favorite smoke and has the best flavor from my last grow. I have read it is pretty common, hard to have your cake and eat it too I guess. Of course I didn't clones it because it was a runt... big mistake...

    Cascadian's Continuing Grow Journal 600 Watt 5X5

I am giving away 2 clones tomorrow to someone who needs to grow their own medicine. Hurts a little to give these away, they are really doing well. Should give this person a great start though, and they are taking up space. The Remedy . Sour Tsunami #3

    Cascadian's Continuing Grow Journal 600 Watt 5X5

No problem man, any comments or posts are welcome. Sorry to hear about the landlord scare, but at least you still have the genetics. Amazing bean collection you have going. Haven't even heard of some of them but they sound nice. Yeah, on this grow I am going to cull any males. All these seeds...

    Life insurance for a stoner

Dannyboy is right, it will go in the MIB and will effect your life insurance purchases for the rest of your life... and possibly health insurance as well. What I would do is go get a check up/physical at a new Doctor and don't mention weed at all. Then wait a month or so and fill out the...

    Hermies & Feminized Seeds

I agree, though the likelyhood is higher of a single seed in a bag being from a hermie. No guarantee, I just did a breeding project. If someone got some of my bud they wouldn't find many seeds but all of them would be 50/50 female male with no hermies. Also, the plant that hermies and...
