Actually you are mistaken. Yes Samsung currently manufactures the Diablo board. No you can't get the the equivalent for 1/2 price because HLG is using better quality PCBs, Samsung LED direct from Samsung ( not the rejects and stolen chips some "QB" copies use ). AND they are made here in the U.S...

And for clarification, I'll ask HLG what it cost them to test their lights, then maybe we'll have an exact figure. Actually I may have been thinking about UL testing, I know I read somewhere it was expensive.

There are many side by side threads out there. It's not my job to find them for you. I errored on the light test statement and said so. I'm human, I make mistakes. I own up to them. Glad you enjoy your HPS lights!
