First grow, noob question about Vipaspectra 300 LED

Don't get me wrong, they'll work fine. But fine isn't why you, I, or any other person gives this hobby attention. Its all about excellence, and compared to a 1k HPS, well...

First grow, noob question about Vipaspectra 300 LED

I'm in a 36x20x62in tent with a couple Silver Widows under a VS300w. I had some user errors in the beginning, but they're clicking right along now. I'm using a single 300 (147 actual, I think) for the veg, then adding a second 300 for flower. I think it's gonna be OK, but certainly not ideal...

Mars 300 to Cree COB DIY hack. advice please.

It'll be alot of light for sure. But if you can dial it in (is a dimmer a possibility? ) it'll be a beast maker.

Diy calcium magnesium suppliment - calmag

I anticipated needing calmag because I was moving from DWC to coco hempy buckets with RO water. I set out by studying some before shelling out any cash. I found an old thread fhat goes on forever, but the premise was using a modified Lucas scheule that is coco specific. I've been jamming on it...

Mars 300 to Cree COB DIY hack. advice please.

Really interested in trying this. Ive got a Viparspectra 300 that I'm gonna keep intact, but I can get another for dirt cheap to try this with. The little 300 does ok in my little tent for veg, but I don't think it's gonna have the goods to push these two plants through flower.

Patience sucks, but it isn't optional.

I hear ya, patience is the watchword. My next step is to stand still and wait.

HELP! PICS! I have done my research but am still found wondering

Ph issues suck. Especially if you let your ego get involved (No way my pen is bad, I paid $$$ for it!). It sems that ph problems are a pretty common mistake, at least judging by the volume of posts. It almost wrecked my grow. Glad you sorted it all out. Grow big, man.

Patience sucks, but it isn't optional.

In the interest of brevity, I'll keep to the basics. Bottom line, if you're a noob like me: 1. You're likely to make some mistakes, it's not the end of the world. Recover, and try not to repeat those mistakes. 2. If you don't have some patience, get some. Your chances of success are virtually...

Help getting startup costs down please.

I second the KISS rule. I recently watched an easy grow setup. If I remember right it was kinda like this: 70-tent 100-light (CL) 15-buckets 7-ph test drops 20-nutes 5-perlite 10-coco 7-ph up/down 25-beans 15-booster fan and tubing (CL) 25-components for DIY carbon scrubber Right around bones...
