Help! I’m stuck to my bubble hash!

I’m not ready to do it with a press yet….don’t know why, but too many things going on already. I like the idea of capsules, and have been toying with the idea as I have COPD. I just got a Volcano, though, and after using one for smoking bud, I’m considering it for bubble hash. It says it can be...

Help! I’m stuck to my bubble hash!

This batch was cured (actually last year’s). Last batch was fresh frozen. When we made it, we squished the water out with paper towels. It made the flattened, frozen stuff really hard to plane. It was in the freezer for 3 days (the video or thread-don’t remember..said 24-48 hours). I’ve got to...

Help! I’m stuck to my bubble hash!

You know, I really have a brain somewhere ….wait..;; teflon???? I have worn disposable nitril and vinyl gloves, but haven’t heard of teflon. I’ll have to look that up. I did wear the vinyl gloves and they shredded on the micro planer. thanks.

Help! I’m stuck to my bubble hash!

I wanted to save some. The photo didn’t show it all. There was A LOT on the fingers that didn't get shown. I took the photos with my phone, trying not to get the hash all over it . It was an exercise in futility. Otherwise, I would have just used alcohol . ….. I used the alcohol. Gave up...

Help! I’m stuck to my bubble hash!

I’m trying to micro plane my frozen bubble hash. Tried to re-freeze the hash & micro planer as I went, but as the photo shows, it’s a losing battle. The hash is in sticky pieces that can’t be planed … too small. And all over my fingers. The hash is too sticky to break up. the hash on my fingers...

Messed up drying bubble hash..again..left on strainer..have ‘1/2 melt’ stuck.

Well, messed up my 3rd try at bubble hash. This is getting frustrating! My husband is ready for me to go back to making ISO hash. I was having to make it every 4 days though, and it was getting tiresome. Can only make a small amount at a time. Anyway, bubble hash is easier to work with- not as...

Bubble hash flavor: does it make a difference in how you stir it?

Curious, which (total) bags do you use? I’m asking as many people as I can and then figuring out my next move ;) . thanks!

Bubble hash flavor: does it make a difference in how you stir it?

No, this time I used the 120, 73 & 25 ( left out the 160). I just ordered a 90 on Amazon yesterday to replace the 120, I think. May use all four.

Bubble hash flavor: does it make a difference in how you stir it?

We finally learned about not using too much ice. SO many videos out there, and the first ones I watched did have a lot of ice…too much, so the first two times, we used too much ice, making it hard to stir, causing us to use the drill with a soft tipped paint stirrer. But, the four foot wooden...

Bubble hash flavor: does it make a difference in how you stir it?

Good idea on the cooler. thanks I can’t really ‘bite the bullet’ ;), as in only keep the new stuff, because I smoke .3-.4 gms of hash a night to sleep, which uses it up pretty fast now. I used to use less, and thought it was doing well, but due to so much pain, I was waking up 3-4am, after...

Bubble hash flavor: does it make a difference in how you stir it?

Thank you for all of your help. Between this and that decent video with common sense, we’re doing it right now with a wooden 4 foot piece of thin clean pole (to give leverage) instead of anything with a drill to be gentler with the trichomes. It’s going great and looking good, too! Happy trails!

Bubble hash flavor: does it make a difference in how you stir it?

Well, color me blushed . I watched one (or far too many) videos! I think in one of them they mentioned the bubbles made while stirring, and that stuck in my mushy brain :p. I don’t get out as I’m too ill and have been for nearly thirty years, so the last time I smoked socially, I doubt...

Bubble hash flavor: does it make a difference in how you stir it?

Thank you. Yes, you have helped. 1. The product I’ve been using is a year old. I’m using the stuff I just harvested to smoke. I’ve still got well over 30 oz left from last year :-o…it was a good year!, but now it’s pretty crispy. this year was a pretty poor year as I had early flowering (when...

Bubble hash flavor: does it make a difference in how you stir it?

I’m trying bubble hash again today. The first two times it has come out tasting really awful. My husband has to put something over his nose when I smoke it so he doesn’t have to smell it. That’s how bad it is. I made sure it didn’t mold, so that isn’t the problem. I followed the instructions...

Bubble hash with fresh frozen: how is it made differently, if at all?

I’ve made bubble hash twice now with dried herb, and just finished harvest, so I froze some bud to try fresh frozen. I could only freeze a small amount since I don’t have a deep freezer and didn’t make a batch during the harvest to find out if it was worth it or I would have frozen more if I had...

Trying to dry my buds in higher humidity

Just found out why I’ve been drying in too warm of a room. The ‘sticky’ threads I used are on THIS forum for drying. It’s under Harvesting, and are in the top stickies. NOTHING is mentioned about the temperature. I know I’m careful with instructions, and it’s been bothering me since this thread...

Trying to dry my buds in higher humidity

Ooooooops. I thought I researched things before I did them. I’ve been googling since I read the post above. I had NO idea I was drying them way too fast! I’m glad I asked about the humidity question (which, it turns out the humidity is all right in the drying room, but the heat is way too...
