And here is a confirmed female. Ignore the "hair", and instead focus on what is at the node.

A Gender Reveal Lesson for Newbies

Every grow season it seems hundreds of "sex" post appear. I try to help the newbies every season by showing what balls, at their earliest stage, look like. Imagine a crab claw for males, and a straight single "pistil" for females, and you will learn the difference quickly. First sign of a male...

    GANGAS 2020 garden

Hey Ganga!! Back at it I see. I got 4 plants going now. Just saw first pistils, hairs on one of them last night. Been traveling a lot this summer, but finally home now for good. Went organic soil this summer for the first time. Love it so far. Probably need your advice on feeding when flower...

Grassy smell when does it go away?

All I know is my long dried, long cured bud is some flame. That's all I need to know. I dry and cure and after four weeks of that slow process I got some dank bud.

Really cold here in Wisconsin. Get's dark around 4:30 too. Kind of sucks, actually. Harvest tastes real good now though...

19 A Strange Year for SoCal outdoor, Truncated but Potent

Grow season for everything, even corn, was the worst that I can remember in 20 years. Spring was the main reason. It was cold, rainy and kept early peak spring sun in check, which is critical for outdoor success from planting seeds for any crop.

7 Weeks into Flowering and still no THC

Outdoors is a longer process regardless. Sativa strains crawl at a snails pace outdoors. Nice plant. Be patient.

And now that my cure is near complete, these girls made some fire ass buds! Don't ever let anyone tell you you can't grow fire in the Northern US.

    Pistils vs. Trichomes

Mother nature put an end to growing real quick in Wisconsin today. I was able to stretch 2 weeks of budding before I harvested last week. One really rolls the dice here with sativa doms, but it's worth it when it works out.

Anyones Indicas go 50% amber in Southern Oregon area?

You want milky with a small amount of amber and little to no clear. All amber is not something to want, IMO.

    Brewers Toker Grow - 2019

Finish line reached. After a shitty spring, summer really took over and gave me an awesome crop. Close to 1.5 pounds. And buds are beautiful. Another successful harvest complete. I hope everyone is having success harvesting as the cold and snow crash in!

    harvesting in snow

It's more about sunlight hours and less about temps. In SE Wisconsin I'm lucky if my plants get 3 hrs of direct sun this late in the season.

    Brewers Toker Grow - 2019

Started harvesting my biggest and final lady today. She is providing huge yield. Overall, after 2 plants in jars curing, I have a pound of clean, dry bud. Did the slow dry this year, and I am very happy with the results once my flowers are in jars. Pictures to come shortly...

    Surviving a solid cold rain

It's going to be 44° overnight here. I don't think it's been above 47° here overnight since I got back from CA.

    Surviving a solid cold rain

As far as your concerns about being spotted, unless someone is right on the edge of your garden looking at your plants, you will be fine. I was worried about late fall visibility last year too. I am much more relaxed now.
