  • Hey you seem to have lots of experience with jacks hydro/calnit. Was wondering if you still rock the recipe you posted awhile back?
Any chance u can DM me to discuss the application of Red, Blue, and Far Red to the light mix. Still unable to start a conversation here as I am too new
Do you have a thread on your RDWC?

I designed my own. It's a lot better than the undercurrent. You'll see it.

I got rid of my air pumps and stones years ago. Less hassle, less expense and less noise! Didn't hurt my yields a bit.
Hey there, I was curious man since you're a really well known member on the forum, what is your favorite LED grow light? I'm out here writing some blog posts about growing & hydroponics and would love to hear any input you have.

LOL. Nice. So you must know a bunch of brands then. I'm trying to expand my site's catalog of LEDs but when it comes to sexy and cheap: I have Viparspectra and Advanced Platinum. Coming soon Spectrum King. LMK if you have any suggestions I'm always looking to get some new hot brands!

I just toured the new Philips LED lighting greenhouse facility at my local University. Most of the brands advertised here are several generations ahead of them; HLG, Johnson Grow Lights, Northern Grow Lights, Tasty LED and others are all very much on the leading edge of the art.

Just reached out to Tasty LED, I'll let you know if they give me the deal. Thanks! See you in the forums!

Make posts. Eventually you'll get likes which will help. Eventually you'll get a big enough post count to be able to send and receive private messages, in the conversations section.

Thanks for asking this, because that is my struggle. PLus, i really have an issue I cant seem to get get an answer on LOL But, persistence pays, is what i heard!
Four thousand DE, centered in a 10x10 room with Three full 10x7 walls trellis netted and two 3x7 walls. Seems like near four times the canopy. Wondering if it'll be four times the yield. a guy was moaning about the way nugs grew sideways and not "uniform" Ahhhh Yeaaaa, haha, couldn't give two nugs if the weight is there. @ttystikk Have you seen a vertical garden that produces and looks professional?
    Hello friend

Im spanish, sorry for me English :)

I have a question for you about LEC 315W... Is it true that it is comparable to 600W HPS? Do you produce the same quantity with 315W LEC as with 600W HPS?

    Thanks you!

Not quite. 315W is equivalent to about 450-500W of HPS according to many who test here.

OK, It's very good then, LEC produces very little heat right?

I'll finish seeing the whole post

    Thanks you friend!
I finally broke down and bought a couple QB304 boards, plan on switching all my HPS over by the end of June and my LEC by the end of the summer. Thanks for your advice on them they seem like some of the best tech on the market.
    Hey ttystikk,

If it isn't too much trouble, could you elaborate upon what your hydro setup is currently like? I thought you were running a RDWC system but judging by the more current photos in your Vertical Grow thread, it looks like your plants are now just in 5 gallon buckets sitting in saucers (to catch runoff, I guess)?

What technique are you using? Medium? Feeding regimen? Spare me no details! Thanks.
    Hey Bud,
I would really like your thoughts on my next vertical grow. There is a post #2211 in RollitUp forum named Club 315W LEC. I am able to get the lamp at a very good price so if you feel there should not be a heat problem I am going to purchase it an run with it.
Thanks man, your opinion is appreciated,

    GR

That looks good to me, although it's tough to get an idea of scale from photographs. PM me and we can talk in more depth.
Good evening sir, can you point me to your 860 allstart grow?
    I'm torn between 8-600's, 6-1000's or 6 or 8-860's for my 11x12 vert grow.
Any of your advice would be very appreciated.

It looks like you found my vertical goodness thread. If you want to use HID lighting, my best recommendation is the 860W lamp, run on a LFSW digital ballast. They WON'T run on conventional digital ballasts.
