How many cutting s can you take off a mature mother plant? Say one that has been growing for close to two months and is about 3 feet tall?

Cool, I see what your sayin. If I start them inside at 12/12 and put them out in late August when the light outside is at 13/11 will that screw up the flowering already started? I really want them to finish out mostly outdoor and to do that here is to get em out in time to mature before frost...
