The mods there are kinda Nazis.
And many sell seed so they don't like my journal telling how to sts fems an make your own autos from regs.

twostrokenut a very cool nick. I too love my 2 strokes. My TZ250 and KX250 were 2 strokes, god I loved running my Blendzall castor oil though them!
Anyway thank you for the thumbs up. I been using hydro for many years on and off growing hot peppers, so I got my feet wet doing that. Just a little fine tuning is all that was needed to run MMJ (PH and Nute PPM) But yea soil is much easier and more forgiving as you know you have to check on your Hydro every day to make sure the PH and PPM stay in range, other than that its not bad at all.
Heard allot of really good things about them Hempy pots! No experience at all with coco.

5 weeks ish flowering in last pic..
It Realy smells like strawberries an is the most sativa auto I've ever seen.
Dr grinspoon structure.
I hit her with nycd auto x auto haze fem pollen an shell have alot of baby's.
And Hopefully not quite as sativa as her mama,
Auto flowered @ the 6th node @6 in tall an grew into this super sativa looking plant.

When moving from veg to flower, how many days does it normally take for pistils to show?
I'm seeing something under the IG420 w/ pontoon..might be abnormal but in a good way.

Im averaging 3-4 days after flip with the pontoon when I can definitevly tell that it is flowering and indeed a fine female, used to be around a week before that. what are you seeing? Been playing around with the veg photoperiod to see if I can get it down to a day or 2. Once I get that figured out prob try 13/11 like I see people doing with the pontoon. Not sure how much added yield i will get or if the plant will just finish faster (leaning towards yielding more in hypothesis) but it is worth a try since I can def afford to run it for one hour extra (.12kwH). Feel bad for some of you west coast guys paying through the nose for electric.

Looked in today and saw pistils on all 6 plants. Had to check my calendar, sure enough, 3 days since moving to the flower tent.
Thought the norm was 7-10 days. If so 3 days is impressive.
And nat, frack u and your .12 kWh electricity (I get up to .36 kWh here).

Ya but with the cheap electricity comes the heavy price of 3-5 min. mandatory if they notice something.... would be willing to pay the increase in electric bill if it meant no paranoia lol.

Personally I can't wait to get back to nuclear back east.....as for the paranoia I plan on doing some actual tomato runs lol among other things

I pay $0.08 per kwh. no paranoia here . Increase is minimal. To run my t5 in veg and all 3 IG's only costs $65 a month. Where I used to live and pay $0.33 it would cost me over $300 to run those same lights at a much higher increase. Most of the power comes from wind mills and solar panels out here. They don't use as much nuclear power out here. I'm sure they use some. There's thousands of windmills and solar panels.

Much to respect here in the west especially in the mmj scene.... I am afraid .40/kwH isn't one of those things, to me anyhow.

I'm at $.33/kWh. Just running 400w for veg cost more than some full scale gardens flower room.

on the topic of nuclear power.. i recall reading somewhere about Liquid Fluoride Thorium Salt Reactors, and that back in the 70's there was a pretty substantial divide among the minds in the know over which nuclear path to follow. i think it was in the late 70s when Oak Ridge had a LFTR running for a few years and when they decommissioned it, it had more fuel in it than they put in it to start it up. also, they run at near atmospheric pressure and have a built in safety feature where if there is a failure, coolant to a freeze plug ceases and the frozen thorium salt plug melts, draining the liquid salts into a purpose-built catchment. compared to the nuclear paradigm that was adopted on the current massive scale, these things are extremely safe to operate. thing is, there isn't really a way to make weapons grade radioactive materials associated with them... personally i think that was the single determining factor within the power structure. sad to think that if LFTRs would have been opted for, there would not have been disasters at Chernobyl, 3 Mile Island, Fukushima... and there would be a lot less uranium and plutonium floating around...
