I have had a lot of trouble lately with people making comments about smelling weed on me. Bitch at the drive thru... home depot lady... old man at the uhaul rental... but the worst is my employer has had a little talk with me twice now about a "mysterious odor coming from your person." Basically I need to stop smelling like weed or I'm going to get the whole fuckin place drug tested.

The obvious solution is to stop smoking weed before work or on lunch which I'm going to have to stop doing for now. But I have a couple vapes at home and wondering if a portable herb vape like a da vinci ascent or pax would cut down on the smell. I normally smoke a bowl in a glass pipe on the way to work but... I blow it out the window and give myself a good 20 - 30 min to air out. I wear cologne and also have ona spray and chewing gum, but it's not working. I know when we vape at home you can definitely smell the weed... I'm just wondering if it 'sticks' to you like smoke does.

Idk how but I used to work at a corporate office for a hospital and I would smoke herb from the time I left my house in the morning up until the minute I pulled up in the parking lot. I would burn at lunch and both of my breaks and only once did anyone ever say anything to me. It was an older lady and she asked me if I smoked and I replied no I don't smoke cigarettes and she was like ohh hmm you just smell like smoke but it's not like cigarette smoke it smells strange Lol

I blow my hits out my backdoor so my house dont reek of bud. And also there is a thing called cologne

Your brain filters the smell out. Your clothes probably reek of weed but your brain disables this smell when your olfactory nerve gets too much of a smell constantly. So while you don't smell it everyone else does.

Could be worse you could have been a cannery worker. "Fish smell? What fish smell?"

So true I know my house probably smells of weed but I try to reduce it. My winter coat hasnt even been worn yet the fucker reeks of bud

Leather is the absolute worst material to wear, picks up and holds the smell for days...even weeks.

I'm actually about to buy a good carbon filter due to this...as I've been a walking smelly kush plant for almost a year now.:lol:

All it takes is a few minutes in the flower room wearing the wrong clothing.:bigjoint:

I read some reviews; they are saying most pens are for dabbing and the ones that try to do both or use for dry herb only have one heat setting. They end up combusting the bud and then you're just smoking it anyway and gumming up the pen. I am looking at Pax and Ascent portable vaps... possibly iolite... would prefer convection.

I work in a small office and everything has been cool for over a year. My theory is: recently we moved seats and some rat that sits next to me has been sending emails to my boss. My boss is telling me to chill the fuck out while simultaneously trying to side-step the issue so he doesn't have to drug test the entire office.

Pretty sure my old apartment had a dead animal in the wall at one time. The closet constantly smelled like death and the cats would occasionally scratch at the corner....

I read first post and my advice is blow hits somewhere else, get a pax/gpen/micro gpen, or go to edibles less smell so ya fuck u

Your nose does get used to a smell [I lived next door to a moth ball factory as a child]...I never smelled much at home till I was twelve...when we moved...
For sure ONA Gell on your desk at work... odor beads use that shit...
Carry it around in your pockets ....
Feel for ya man.... Find a smelly hair gell...

No advice for you OP, I used to smoke cigarettes to kill the smell (Camel, Marlboro), nobody even knew I was a stoner then, then I stopped smoking tobacco and that all changed. My solution, I just don't leave the house any-more. Lol

I stopped buying leather b/c it doesn't breathe...not good in summer.

Air fresheners under seat work well 4/it though.
