Frenchy after adding the 190 have you noticed a considerable difference in the quality? I'm thinking about adding a 190 as well

The 190 is to see if you have anything worthwhile in your 160, it does not happen often but when it does it is good. Worth case scenario, use the 160 for edibles

Good move, it looks creamier now. You must have seen and especially tasted the difference between a well pressed hashish and a light pressed one, please share so that we build up credibility and bring people to the "Darker Side".

It took on more of a sweet chocolate smell After the final press. It had more of a fresh roasted coffee bean smell before the finale press. I have not smoked any yet but it smells amazing.
I just smoke some. It taste like a sweet black chi tea. Is smother on the throat too

This could use a little more pressing but it is hard to tell for sure with that angle and the focus. You should try pressing a little chunk in your hand for a while and see what happens

When you say 73 is it only the 73 or 120 and 90 are with the 73?

Heres a pic of chemdog deisel I did. It keeps melting to the bottom of the jar so I couldn't get a big peice out to take a pic of it

Hey Frenchy,
Great thread.
I got a chance to make some cannolis last night and man the aroma increases every time you "Press 2 Activate". Something I did do different this time was not reuse my water (my garden loves it FYI). I do a combination or Matt Rize IWE and then add in your Pressing Tech.
This is the stickiest batch I have done to date and I have to think that using new water with each batch makes all of the difference.
I use 220 work Bag

120 (Which I will probably not use next time)

I hand stir for 10 mins. and let it sit for another 10. Not sure if it does anything but my thought is that the trichs get time to settle at the bottom of my bucket. This last time I only did 3 washes but the material was done.
Also, I did half Fresh Frozen and Half Dried Frozen. (I know you don't like frozen)

Hope you like them... Not the Frenchy Quality but best damn stuff I have ever made. The smell blows the doors of the BHO I have made.
Edit: I checked this morning and the 73 didn't hold the cannoli shape... Do you think that will affect the curing?

Did not do it after all, I was planning to do that with the Mendo Dope plants. I wrote an article on Charas on he other hand, we will see if Danny Danko like it enough to publish it in HT.Frenchy I remember hearing on the Hunters of the Dank that you were going to hand rub some Charas did you ever do this and do you have picks

Nice work Yktind. The 73 that does not hold together may have a waxy texture, it is due to humidity, meaning you could have dried longer. It will not change the quality, nose or potency and the curing will be the same just pop the container more often for 4 weeks or so. If the texture is dry you should have done a more thorough wash in your bag, should have been gentler as well and run the load for a shorter time. Letting the trims soak in cold water for 20 minutes or so is also very important.
