how do you boil water with no heat? if you have no heat wouldnt it just be water in a pot?A vacuum as in having no air inside the container, just space. If you have ever seen it, you can easily boil water without heat by putting it in said container.
No!how do you boil water with no heat? if you have no heat wouldnt it just be water in a pot?
Exactly!like jarin pickles. bud in hot jar lid on put in a water bath covered by 1" of water for 10 min..... take it out and once it cools it is in a vacuum???? just a thought... not sure what it would do but ching ching
But it wouldn't be for the same reasons as it would be with air around it.The moisture would evaporate more quickly in a vacuum, but that's not really what you want.
That's what I was thinking, but just wanted someone to confirm. I may still try it to see if it could give a difference. Never know man.You still want the moisture to leave SLOWLY, whether the buds are in open air or in a vacuum. There are still chemical and biological processes going on after you harvest (think of cut flowers that continue to blossom). These processes require moisture. Quick drying (however it's done) removes moisture before these processes have had time to finish. Once the buds are dry, there's no going back.
