yeah i used to hear things about that, i dont use their stuff but i was looking at their hi capacity system and the way they sit two angled panels back to back with the chamber in between...i didnt know if they only had misters up top letting gravity do the work or what...

once you get it dialed in ive found hpa to be more reliable than lpa or any other growing system out there...the only time i had problems with this was when i was naively trying to duplicate somebody's bullshit hair roots...once i forgot about all that and made sure i wasn't underwatering i havent lost a plant since.

a rothenberger rp50 delivers 45ml. thats 9 teaspoons. im using it to pressurize my tank on my hp cloner. i have to pump it 120times per day currently. i can do 4 differnet work outs, never thought of the foot pump idea.
do you heat the rez on your cloner? ive tried using my system to clone before but i could never make it work...maybe i just didnt have the timing down but 68 degrees always seemed a little chilly for root formation to me so im still using the trusty heating pad and root riots

i retired my aero cloner and am now using 50% coarse perlite/ 50% coco. inocculated with endomycorrhizal species, for propagation purposes.
its just so much easier than aero. i also spray my clones a few times with a solution of 0.4ppm kinetin( same formulation as nitrozyme just self mixed)
while using my aero cloner i had best results with 75F air and water temps. i also found 1ppm free clorine to be helpful.

nope no res i just let it go down the floor drain. it didnt use that much any way.

LOL, I just wanna notice the thread is 8 pages long and the OP hasn't been around since page 1 :) Looks like interesting stuff though!

ive settled into growing in coco/perlite and i think thats where im going to stay, for the following reasons

+i grow S.O.G. and its nice having the plants in small individual pots incase i have to pack everything up and run

+im autowatering 6 times daily using an accumulator/ solenoid/ netafim woodpeckers drip emitters. there isn't a lower maintenance system out there IMO

+as far as yeild. im only on my second grow using this method and im already at the 1.2gpw mark. thats with a 9 week growing period (Wreckage TH seeds). my goal is to beat this with a strain that finishes in 8 weeks

+ im reusing my substrate. after a harvest i take the plants and shake all coco/perlite off the roots into a bin. i throw the rootball into the woods. and then water the used sub with enzymes. i then apply enzymes again in four weeks. after two months its ready to use and i inocculate it with beneficail bacterial and mycorizza once again and use it again.

im still curious if theres any merit to hair roots.

once i have some time to burn. im gonna experiment using my AA nozzes.

but that wont be until i figure out some of the other great cannabis growing mysterys (micropropagation, clone seeds, ect.)

Hate to bring an old threat to life but I'd like to comment on clydefrog post.

"Target root temperatures maintained at 68F. (Mature clones lower temps/younger prefer warmer) Temperatures should never exceed 74F (Dangerous)." Source https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?threadid=52431

turns out my prob was insufficient coverage/saturation. i still use root riots even after i got it dialed in...so much else going on its one less thing to worry about.

It wasn't me that resurrected the dead but while it's here...

How did you start lettuce from seed for aeroponic use? That has boggled me as this is exactly what I'm looking to build.

If those pics are really two weeks beats the crap out of my flood and drain seed starting bed
