When you gravity feed the pump you lose the weight of the onboard res so the concrete block holds it down. It also brings the pump handle up to a comfortable operating height ;)

i was just using my rothenberger last night. it think imgoing to do the same thing only filll my red box with rocks

also your rothenberger has a different hose than mine. my hose is matte and 3/4inch diameter. and yours appears shinny and skinny did you change it out?

Nope its the original 5800psi hose. Your pump is a good few years younger than mine so they may have changed it, the latest ones have trendy red handwheels too ;)
You`ll find it easier to remove the tank for gravity feed as there`s not a lot of clearance under the pump inlet and the turn is pretty tight.

Hey... I have to catch up around here sometime... I'm focused on other things right now, life has been fairly tough on me and I am just trying to preserve my lifestyle but often think about finishing my last chamber design and all of you guys... Hope all is well with everyone and glad to see TF, Atomizer, Mike and all of you who are still around... :)

this whole aeroponics feels like a design for a car that can run on water, only no one will buy and burn that idea.

Also from what i know those manual test pumps deliver like 1 tea spoon of water per pump.. right? Do you use your foot in this work out, cuz arms would be ripped by the time u bud yo biyatches.

Just a thought on the spitting misters. What if you put a large hole with a feed back line to a res or someplace from the end of the manifold bar.Small enough to maintain pressure in the manifold When the cyl. Opens pressure goes through the spray tips. When it closes the pressure is relieved through the hole instead of spitting on shut down. Also would bleed water back down from the tips from shut off and not spit on the next cycle.
Just a thought.

a rothenberger rp50 delivers 45ml. thats 9 teaspoons. im using it to pressurize my tank on my hp cloner. i have to pump it 120times per day currently. i can do 4 differnet work outs, never thought of the foot pump idea.

thats what I thought when I was planing to purchase a test pump, to turn the handle into a pedal, but some girl from customer service said it was very shity to manually charge a 100L tank. how big is ur tank and how much did u pay for rp50?

your 100L accumulator holds 38.78 liters at that cut in/cut out

38780ml/45=861 pumps

at one pump per second(kind of aggressive) you will spend 14.3 minutes pumping

im not sure how it feeks but it doesnt list the volume per stroke. i would just get the rothenberger if your serious about pumping your life away.

I feek u bud! =] probably gonna get rottenburger ;] just in case. Do these pumps lose productivity when pressure goes up?
p.s. how come that link u posted the pump says its new..arent they like over 300$

Hell ya you could stick two of those rothenbergers under a stair master type exercise machine and make it a little easier, and your lady will like your atomically sculpted posterior.

nope from 0-50bar the output is 45ml per stroke.

because it is new:)

its technically not a rothenberger, its a prufpumpe. im guessing its the german version. and yup they they can be expensive.

canada ehh? =]

how many pumps from 80 psi to 140psi?
thats one hell of an accumulator if youre running 140.

oxanaca you know if the guts in that rennsteig are stainless? do you run a hose to your rez? my shurflo only runs 8 min a day but its still a little noisy for my taste...this looks interesting

do any of you know what kind of spray pattern agrihouse uses for their flex systems?
it uses impingement nozzles, a jet of water hits a pin and the water goes sideways. im not gonna lie, i bought 8 of these nozzles and they all had a unique pattern each nozzle shoots mist in random directions. no quality control whatsoever.

im thinking about taking a few months off from this hobby, in order to build my funds, using more reliable methods. by then atomizer will probably be back and i will be able to pester him with pictures and questions.
