I never heard him say that. You and others seem to think he implied, he feels that way. Fine.

But, as ugly as it is, I think as much as possible, freedom is the only situation that makes sense for Humankind.

Now, my dogs probably think I am their slave....but, it's the other way....ish't it?? :)

I think there is still some actual, formal Chatterley going on, today. I say still, in hopes it can be stamped out. Hope.

But, in practice, these are all the same. Just the transfer rules are different.

What is not on the list, sound like slavery, but it is not. Indentured Servitude. It is a work contract.

I didn't quit my job either. I couldn't, I was compelled to work. The military was my only option for mobility. I was unfree, that's how wage slavery works, you have to work or you starve. It's voluntary, like serfdom, you're not chattel. You just rent yourself out like a hooker. Hookers like to fuck too by the way.

so, enlistment in the military is now serfdom, because it was voluntary but then you couldnt quit when you decided you didnt like it.

the contract had terms, including how much you would be paid, and how long you would serve. that is neither slavery nor serfdom.

was the term of your service from birth to death? NO

did anyone catch you in the forest, affix chains to your ankles and wrists and march you into a barracoon? NO

were you sold on an auction block? NO

were you bound to a piece of real estate as a fixture, like a well a barn or a tree, and sold with the property? NO

could you, if you wished, have declined to sign the contract? YES

have other persons in a similar situation declined to sign the contract, yet NOT STARVED? YES
