Shatter looks crisp man. And I loveeeeeee the xj-13. I've ran a decent amount. I actually got two different sources. Same exact strain. 
. I've never ran an immature xj trichome. But just tonight, wet cut down a girl 6.2 weeks into flower. The trichs be soooo shiny. Sparkly. Your trim from a full run? I've mostly ran mature trim and buds. So
So my oil comes out on the darker side. Usually get a nice red, deep red tint. Had a nice orange red tint one time. When you running it? I think I got some buds to do here..this Halloween spirit slows my work though

Yeah great buzz to her. Ya my buddy ran almost entirely xj 13 this year so let's just say I felt like fucking Santa clause with how big of black bag full if trim I had last night. And yes, the plants were taken at full maturity. Hopefully tomorrow or Tuesday I will start working it, I have a little over 2oz slab of bubba shatter that's taking FOREVER to finish up lol wonder why

Kase can you send a pick of your bubba shatter when your done maybe even your starting material? I gotta pound of overcured bubba from a dispensary in my area and it's my intro to the dispensary world. I ran a test qp of bubba for them that I couldn't get past pull and snap taffy. This material looks like it came from a group of plants than maybe got less roast so it's starting to look like the pics of bubba i see online "sorta" My first batch came out tasting mostly like roses to me with a sour end that I couldn't taste just feel, it was so floral i didn't want anymore after 7 dabs. I know your out in Cali where bubba is a classic so maybe you can shed some light. It's hard to tell from smoking the starting material because it's so dry.

Well it's a double bubba cross with berry.... not true bubba. I am to the pull/snap shatter stage and still trying to finish her up completely. The plant grew very bubba like and looks like true bubba, but it has a small cross with a local berry flavor as well. And yes I will post up some pics of both starting material and the finished slab o' shatter

Ugh i hate this bubba kush, I've tried all the tek I know, ran it thisa way ran it thata way. The think just spews ink as soon as the solvent hit's it. I ran kief 70,160,220 n got the same color. I ran but this morning sam dam color from the first drip.

I just wanna see what bubba SHOULD look like bud, oil n all. I ran this before the oil as clear as it is most definitely is a dark red. These bud's tric's are amber out the wazoo. I havn't winterized it yet which get's me my reds but I don't wanna use the word gold unless im holding the oil in front of a yellow light.
I dreamed of a world with nothing but nug runs then i realized any nug i get for a nug run is a fucked nug if I got it for free. As people get to sample the oil and i keep threatening i'll go back to work n stop making better flower's are joining my kew. Got a bit of ubc chemo im excited to run, just gotta dig my way through this pound of black bubba. I'm going to have to re-brand this oil as Deathstar or something.

I do and don't mind, dispensary gave it to me so they get what they get, but wtf about my new oilmaker on the scene rep. Nobody wants the guy with mac truckloads of Night oil, but then again people who are just learning to dab shouldn't be given top shelf either so maybe this goes under friendly giveaways.

Dam you bubba kush you made me think my new tek had gone to hell, just to make sure I hadn't woken up finshaggy, I ran some 1 year old afghan kush to see if it could really just be old trich's or did they try dehydrating this bubba in the dam microwave. 1 year old and im still running amber, wtf BUBBA i got 2 more tubes of you to go.

Right, wouldn't peeps love some bubba shatter?? I def tried the sap when it was done purging and it was friggin delicious. I just feel like at the dispensaries shatter and wax are preferred, but I dunno. My first venture into that world will be this weekend so wish me luck and maybe some of this coming to a dispensary near you soon

So when things wont shatter you convert to wax, I've never tried waxing anything on purpose. I once had some shatter turn into a piece of chocolate but i redisolved it in ethanol and turned it back to shatter for good. I wasn't around for the rise of wax, I knew budder from back in like 06 but went offline for years. Now it seem's people are more fussy about how they handle the oil than having it in it's best form. Sap flavour is phenomenal, it goes downhill from there, I wish i didn't sample along the way cuzz knowing that bugs me.
When i went to market 2 weeks ago with my first run of the "Darkness" I gram'd out the hole thing into containers then vac'd the container n shut it to just buy this stuff 5 more minutes before moisture takes hole and people start leaving the poor thing under a display lamp for 12 hours. I really freakout about shelf life, so many times i bought something awesome and by the time i got home it look like someone shat oil into the parchment. I want it to look like the youtube shit I see in the US, I came to the table with my labels printed, even cut up oil slicks to fit into the container. You could say i put a hell of allot of lipstick on a pig just to get it on peoples dabbers, after dab it's all love....
