I have a heavy heart for all our soldiers in arms, specially the ones deployed overseas. Come home safe......."I won't know the man that kills me...and I don't know these men I kill"..................

I was more into the $15 bag of 90% H my self. Weed just to get me thru most the time.
Much love brother......I've told people many times, that my greatest accomplishment in life was returning from Vietnam & not being a junkie. And I say that with the upmost respect brother....."but for the grace of God go I"......I feel you......

I am a United States Army veteran. Despite this, I find the military worship on this site to be sickening. The total US dead in Vietnam over nearly a 20 year period was 58,000. The other guys lost well over a million and they still won the war. Nor was Vietnam the end of American interventionism: the foreign wars continue and we have soldiers in damn near every country on Earth. The reason for their presence is simple: to bring home the bacon for Wall Street.

The idea that Vietnam had even the slightest negative effect on US belligerence is ludicrous. Quite the contrary, that failure made us more committed killers than ever.

Thank you for your service brother, welcome home. It's not right to blame the military for our politicians mistakes, I got spit on enough when I got home, thank you.....our soldiers are only doing what our elected officials direct them to do. "worshiping" our military is highly justified, they are only doing our dirty work. I believe your hostility is miss-directed, don't hate the soldiers, bro.....

Welcome to the sanity bin :) As a Veteran of the Viet Nam war I only have one quest that matters to me, never again will we allow a war veteran to be dishonored by his honorable service to this country. I do not condone war in any form unless it is on this land I live and have fought for.
Djj and I share a common burden called survivors guilt I honor the dead by honoring the living.
It's not the soldiers job to question it's only to follow orders.
