yea purple dream is humboldt purple urkel aka purple kush x blue dream. Right now its my best strain, I got it from harborside last outdoor season and was blown away by it. Turns wicked colors in cold, blacks and purples and blues. My 3 outdoor gardens are composed mostly purple dreams. They grow big, vibrant, and yield huge grade AAA sativa smoke. Its one of those plants that you cant stop it from growing.

pk dog sounds pretty intense. Dog is indica dominant to, which is what I like when my knees are killing me, would be interesting to see the different phenotypes that would throw. I probably gonna do Lemon Larry x PK as well, and jamaican dream x PK. JD is 6 week sativa, so would hoping for PK type potency, with JD type flower times.

Haha I've just been talking to garden boss from the outdoor thread (next level grower imo) And he's got purple crack, he just harvested the top half of one and got 4.5 pounds no idea what that is in English money but it sounds allot for half a plant!!

In my research I have found that the Humboldt purple kush is a very very very sort after strain, very potent and the mother in one way or another to most purple strains we have now...

I just wish you Lott would stock up on that trarieses mist and start making some seeds! I fear living in the UK I will forever be talking about these US strains but never actually meeting them.....I have heard if you have a crime record here you may not be allowed into the USA I hope that's not the case otherwise it's Guna have to be a flight to Canada then smuggled across the boarder lol

yea the humboldt purple is very sought after, I would love to get my hands on straight purple kush, but its definitely an old timer strain. It seems like the dispensaries don't wanna purchase and stock the old strains, clones or meds. Everything is about the new hybrids and exotic flavors. I been looking for purple kush, skunk #1, Northern lights, maui wowi, and ak47 for a while, but no luck. You can get crosses of them, but not the original, at least in my experience.

I posted pics in both of my grow threads of my purple dreams outdoor if you wanna check it out. I been running it 2 years I think now and its been my most rewarding strain. SUPER easy to grow, you can't stop that lady from getting big, incredible yield, and is potent enough to knock me outta the saddle so to speak, and I have very high tolerance. Its only downside is it has a long flower time. 10 weeks is the earliest you can chop, but 12 weeks is really where you wanna cut her down. Late october finisher outdoor, last year I left a dozen up till mid November and those were top notch.

Yea I am running her indoors now. We are um, 3 weeks into flower I think on her, maybe 2 would have to check my calender. I just put another 20 into flower yesterday as well. This is first time I have personally done it indoors, but one of my really good friends has been getting clones from me for a while and he runs my purple dreams and my pineapple express and my old cheese cutting, and I help him out a lot with his garden. Hes got a knack for designing shit, he made his own 32 site DWC setup. Was really cool to see them in hydro, god they blow up quick in DWC.

well i wish my dwc would go rite!I APOLOGISE FOR PICK QUALITY, 5 MEGA PIXELS IS WHAT WERE WORKING WITH....the bulldog face wont gimmie the proper cam!.

UpDaTe DAy 37.....

Ls1

shes the chunky, started life as indi dom bitch who is now more sat then you could ask for....a proper hybrid.....stinks of lemon candy (a sherbet make you screw ya face up smell) is fairly well triched up.....short squat and stacked, honestly this plant is sooo easy to work with, clone and make happy its unreal, 3x stretch so flipped at a foot tall youll be getting 3ft plants....very vigours grower in veg.....

My only complaint is the tops of the buds,....every single LS i have grown the top bud has always been golf ball shaped, then so were the buds all the way down, this plant has made points ontop, (pic shows better) this is new to me, she looks like shes foxtailing out of the top, its very skinny though.

the LS really packs her weight on in the last 3 weeks, as i type this i have noticed some pistills turning brown, this lets me know we are now moving onto the final phaze off flower.

honestly she smells fuckin soooo lemony its a joke anyways lemon heads what do you think???.....

Ls2.....

well what can i say super smelly super frosty, great looking rock soild nugs....just stretches wayyyyy too much but more importantly has VERY big gaps between buds (internodes) this is bad for light penetration as it means the stems are getting most of the light....she is huge 4 foot with tiny buds....but very frosty sreminds me very much of the DNA pick on page one that they use in the advert....

shes currently sitting outside the "tent" as i felt ls1 will yeild much more (had i have known this from the start ls1 wouldnt have been 2foot from the light). i dont no what to do with her, shes not really getting any light just the small over spill, but i cant bring myself to kill her....if i had another light happy days but thanks to dog face i now only have one.

i might just leave her there and see what happens....any thoughts on what to do Lemheads?? shes sooo much taller then LS1, i wish she wasnt so tall :(

That one bud does look to be shooting up slender...
not quite a foxtail. It is hard to be certain.

They have such interesting leaves. I imagine that light
can really penetrate down into them.

Thanks for sharing.

I had this happen before except mine was even more skinny. Literally one or two calyx wide mini towers off the very top of the bud, about 2-3 cm tall. I think I've isolated it to a combination of heat and/or light intensity in my case. It seems to happen during the hot grow months for me. I raise my hood slightly when I get later into flowering and it seems to help.

The girls look great otherwise, ls2 looks alot like the GHS version my bud runs, tall and lanky.

mate ive never seen it before i thought it might be the opposite were ls2 was keeping the light just over 2ft from her tops that she may have been stretching...

i was pushing it trying to do both in the same space together they are 5 foot by 5 foot square, and imo 1 600w should only cover a 3x3 area, hence since ls2 has been pushed out now and after only a few days ls1 is looking much more healthy.....

do the slender tops effect the bud yeild wise??

oh and what does he think of the tall lanky one? i just cant see it yeilding better then ls1 right now

The LS1 definitely is your keeper phenotype in my humblest opinion. I wouldn't kill the LS2 just let her do her thing and call it a learning experience.

They both look so tasty though, I bet both will give you some lemonriffic bud.
