Like I said, you aren't watching. Last war - ALL of Repubs were behind it. This war only SOME Dems wanted it. No lockstep evident in the Dem camp. Never has been actually. That is the difference. And, as I said, show me where Dems have ever threatened to shut down the government.

That's easy. This upcoming vote for a continuing resolution. Harry Reid says it's dead on arrival in the senate. If they don't pass it, the government shuts down. Obama says he will veto if it does pass the house. If the anointed one vetos the bill then the government shuts down. I don't follow Democratic politics very closely but I am pretty sure Reid and Obama are Democrats.

I don't get your argument, that the State Department, or the Obama Administration showed any type of disrespect. The only one's showing disrespect are the Republicans, still making this an issue, in disregards to parents and loved ones saying not to make this into a political issue. The blame for this continued torment to the families lies in the Republicans continued hopes to afflict damage on the Obama administration. They have no common decency, to allow the families to move on and continue their lives.. They seem to want that.

The State Dept and Obama Admin was not mentioned here by me. It was the Dems in Congress that is the subject here. The families were giving their testimony as 'they wanted to do'. It's obvious they are looking for some explanations and aren't getting them. That IS what they want and the Dems didn't stick around to hear them and their concerns. They (the Dems) played politics.

Considering the fact that Republicans were influential in cutting funding to the state department for protective services, I should think Repubs would be skulking off. Oh, I forgot, they are pretty much incapable of shame.
