Im not familiar with the Daisyy Cloner.. Whatever size you can get away with... maybe like 10 in clones...
I like to take cuts at branch splits too... like a topped clone basically...
You can take clones in coco or peat, in a pot, with a 1qt freezer bag over the top.. or, sit your cuts in a bucket and cover with saran wrap. whatever it takes to keep up the humidity and allow light in. There is also a spray that closes the plants stomata and allows you to root clones without a dome.. anti-transpirant - i think it's called "wilt proof" hydro shop should carry it.
Yeah... I like 2 600s over 1 1000. Definitely. You could grow veg under 1 600 then turn on the 2nd to flower..
Having few plants fill a big area efficiently might take some training... I like big tomato cages... Space the plants under the bulbs/centered, top the veg plant once or twice and train the growth away from the bulbs, the the perimeter, to fill out the roughly 3x6 space..
I like to keep mothers under T8 iighting... You don't need it to produce much, you'll be throwing away more growth than you will be cloning....If you could find a 2 bulb 2 ft T8 fixture.... that would do it...
