Enjoy the pics. Wish you could enjoy the smoke with me.
I'd attempt to blow hits into the microphone if i wasn't already worried about lagging. ;)

First off, let me start by saying good job on the grow.
Your plants look healthy and have matured nicely.

I would not let the plant go to 50%-60% amber though, and my reasoning for that is that CBN represents a 90% loss of potency compared to THC.
Letting your plant go to 50% amber means you have lowered the potency of your eventual harvest by roughly 30%-40%.

I don't know what your plant is at percentage wise with regards to the trichomes but if you want to maximize the potential of the potency of your plant I would aim for 85% cloudy, 10% amber, 5% clear.
Any time you can maximize the amount of cloudy trichomes you increase the potency of your harvest, by 90% over amber trichomes and by 100% over clear.
Since it's nearly impossible to get 100% cloudy I would focus on the split I mentioned above.

Either way, good luck with the harvest.

Not sure on potency nor have i seen trichome pics from the plant at harvest.

As of right now. I am 80% cloudy, 10% purple(see pics on previous page to understand), and 10% amber....
I want to chop today. but according to the breeder it's 10 weeks. i'm nearing week 10, starts monday for me.

So it's not TOO early for a chop.

Let me pull her out and snap some updated pics of her. Maybe i will end up chopping today. :)

Potency in Cannabis is quite simple to guesstimate;
THC is the main psychoactive compound in Cannabis, and thus directly corrolates to the potency you get from a specific strain (depending on the particular strains attributes and the normal variables of a grow).
Roughly 95% of all psychoactive potency in Cannabis (what makes you high) stems from THC, and by maximizing the amount of cloudy trichomes you have by harvest and minimizing the amount of clear & amber, you end up close to the 'full potential potency' of a given strain.

Given this information it's quite simple to guesstimate the potency of any plant you see simply by inspecting it (with a loupe or camera).

Going by the numbers you just mentioned I would say you are either just going into peak harvest maturity or just leaving it.
Either way, you should not wait too long to harvest.

You should never blindly follow whatever median grow period the breeder tells you, every grow is different and every plant is different.
The amount of variables which affect a plant in it's life is incredibly high and the difference in grow lengths can sometimes be very puzzling and surprising from grow to grow.
What I mean by this is that you should always focus on and react to what the plant 'tells' you.
Study the plant, take in what you see and make informed decisions based on that, don't run your grow by an arbitrary median period of time given by someone not looking at your specific grow.

I personally would be ecstatic to get 80% cloudy trichs on such a well swollen and healthy looking plant.
Unless you are sure that the plant is gaining more cloudy trichs and losing more clear meanwhile not increasing in amber, I would seriously consider harvesting.

A few amber on sugar leaves isn't a sure sign of degradation.

I don't see many (if any) amber in those pictures.
I do see PLENTY of cloudy(+a few purple)trichomes> so you should be close!

I'm scoping her now. Not for pictures(takes so long to get the good pics and then edit the photo for description. blah blah blah lol)

More and more purple and amber trichs today compared to last night.

She's gonna come down tonight. Only 3 days early compared to breeder times.

I want the most cloudy trichs i can. She's a sativa Dom if you couldnt tell by the pics. And i like my sativa's really heady.

Indica strains i tend to grow out a bit more for the body high. :)

Thank everyone for every piece of advise you have given me.

Stick around for pictures tonight of the harvest. :)

I have 2 more of these running too. they are 2 weeks behind her. so by the time i flip the tent on the 1st, they should both be ready as well.

Thanks again everyone who commented or advised me on when to harvest. :)

Only took pics of the tops of the nugs. No pics of the leaves. which is where i have been seeing my ambers.. I'll try to get a few pics up sometime today of some amber trichs on her. :)

Talk to you all later.

You didnt count the first 7 days into 12/12 as flowering time right as you skip that week as a transition week in the count so week one is actually day 14 in 12/12
