Not sure on potency nor have i seen trichome pics from the plant at harvest.
As of right now. I am 80% cloudy, 10% purple(see pics on previous page to understand), and 10% amber....
I want to chop today. but according to the breeder it's 10 weeks. i'm nearing week 10, starts monday for me.
So it's not TOO early for a chop.
Let me pull her out and snap some updated pics of her. Maybe i will end up chopping today.
Potency in Cannabis is quite simple to guesstimate;
THC is the main psychoactive compound in Cannabis, and thus directly corrolates to the potency you get from a specific strain (depending on the particular strains attributes and the normal variables of a grow).
Roughly 95% of all psychoactive potency in Cannabis (what makes you high) stems from THC, and by maximizing the amount of cloudy trichomes you have by harvest and minimizing the amount of clear & amber, you end up close to the 'full potential potency' of a given strain.
Given this information it's quite simple to guesstimate the potency of any plant you see simply by inspecting it (with a loupe or camera).
Going by the numbers you just mentioned I would say you are either just going into peak harvest maturity or just leaving it.
Either way, you should not wait too long to harvest.
You should never blindly follow whatever median grow period the breeder tells you, every grow is different and every plant is different.
The amount of variables which affect a plant in it's life is incredibly high and the difference in grow lengths can sometimes be very puzzling and surprising from grow to grow.
What I mean by this is that you should always focus on and react to what the plant 'tells' you.
Study the plant, take in what you see and make informed decisions based on that, don't run your grow by an arbitrary median period of time given by someone not looking at your specific grow.
I personally would be ecstatic to get 80% cloudy trichs on such a well swollen and healthy looking plant.
Unless you are sure that the plant is gaining more cloudy trichs and losing more clear meanwhile not increasing in amber, I would seriously consider harvesting.
