Neither plant smells particularly strong yet at all, but this plant hasn't really put off ANY smell until now. And it's very unique smelling too... very earthy, almost like coffee mixed with poo lol. Not very skunky or citrusy. The Five-O smelled a little thru veg (a lot more now) and smells very citrusy.

Whoops... lets try that again..

They were in 12/12 for about 9 weeks. Lighting was mostly HPS, but during high heat I had 'em under a T5.

Beautiful looking girl you got there. I actually want to try this strain out too. Cant wait til your harvest so i have something to go off of. Are you set on an actual date or going for a cloudy:amber ratio?

I'm not sure who you're addressing. I've harvested this plant in June. I actually had 3 of these going a the same time....got a little over 4 ounces.....not great, but it was my second grow. I now average about 3 ounces per plant doing some things much differently.

I'll look at the trichs and go by when she just sort of looks ready. My last plant I harvested too early but I was seeing lots of cloudy with no amber... this time around I'm going to aim for 10% amber. This plant has been very easy to grow, doesn't seem too sensitive and I literally haven't had a SINGLE problem... not even so much as a yellow leaf. And it's great if you're looking for a low odor strain. Can't wait to see how it smokes!! :)

I love the easy growers!

So.... little update... I bought a tent. Lol I know, I know.... I thought about it, and I live in an apartment and I'm not sure how long I will be staying here, so I really didn't want to deal with one more heavy piece of furniture to deal with if I were to move. I found some great potential pieces but they were SO HEAVY!! So... this tent is exactly what I needed. It's MUCH bigger - 36x20x62... so I don't have to worry about height anymore. 8)

Here's my temporary closet set up... lol my kitten loves it... she's such a little spazz. I have to wait until tomorrow to set up the tent because the lights are off now.

Doing a great job! I somehow ended up on page 5 by accident via search but looked very interesting so I went back and read the entire journal! LOL

Oh, VERY happy I got the tent. :D Makes everything SO much easier!

This tent was MADE for my spare closet... lol

Peaking inside at the Five-O.. look how much more room there is!!

Five-O is filling out a bit finally! BTW the burnt tips are from it outgrowing the height of my cab and touching the lights.

And here's the beautiful WWxBB lady starting to develop some trichs! :weed:

Just an observation on your CFLS, you think you could get them around the edges right at canopy level circling the plants with a few above. This IMHO would help you get more light penetration. That's if your into more yields from greater penetration....

Thanks! The smell isn't all THAT bad yet... my little carbon filter is doing the job pretty well. I keep my bedroom door closed and can't smell anything outside of my room. In my room is just sort of smells like I left my jar of bud open.. not super overwhelming but a skunkylicious smell none the less lol.

Growing where you're renting isn't usually a good idea IMO... but in my lease it said they are required to give a 24hr notice before they enter the apt which gives me enough time to hide everything if need be. I also can't have a cat.. lol but I'm assuming they woudn't be quite so quick to throw me out for that..

Yeah, I need to figure out a way to do that... the clamp lights I bought from Wal-Mart don't seem able to hold one of those big CFL's without falling down over a few hours and I've had 2 fall on one of my plants... :/ At the moment I have the clamp lamps just hanging from the cords on either side of the plants with a y splitter and 2 bulbs, but youre right I need to figure out how to get more light penetration cause the way I have it seems to be a waste of bulbs.

What I did, was get a Wax melter. Behind a Tower fan in my room.

You're a Female so it won't throw anyone off if it smells like Fruits and roses in your room... Me.. Well.. Kinda awkward :D

I say Wax melter because Candles get fuckin Spendy! And believe it or not, wax itself isn't all that expensive.. It's the Labor that you're paying for when they put a Wick in it and burn your place down with a Flame...

That, or those Frebreeze outlet things.. They last up to like 9 weeks? Just plug it in and boom.. Freshness. They're like $5 a Pop and I put one in every outlet in the room
