need some quick info on hardware used for ebb and flow hookup.

Hey all!
Im running a 18 site ebb and flow system i purchased from a friend. He gave me all the utilities needed to hook it up and install. took about an hour and it was my first time ever. Well he did not include the plastic nylon hose clamps that came with the titan flow and grow Oceanus 1 system. Can i use standard band 3/4 inch hose clamps? the metal ones? maybe put a strip of black tape on the inside of the hose clamp to prevent cutting of the vinyl tube? ive also read zip ties pulled pretty snug work just as well but there is no coming back from that one once its on there. Any advice would help or if you have encountered this problem before, fill me in on what you used and how it worked. thanks in advance BUDies!

Included is the pic of what i have. but only 2 or 3. I need...well quite a few with an 18 site hydro setup!:joint:

Sometimes the tubing itself is a snug enough fit, because there isn't any pressure in the system. Tyraps work well, and they can be snipped off if needed.

yeah it was a bitch getting them on there. so you think a black zip tie (im not sure what your reffering to by tyraps) would be enough to hold it over the barb? im eventually going to a 32 site off each 55 gal res. but those little black clamps are 99 cent each. i need like over 100.
thanks for the reply so quick :hump:

Stainless hose clamps will be fine, they actually work better in most cases
Thanks Johnny420. i was worried about rust and corrosion. but i never thought to look for stainless. Thanks Bro. i just have alot of equipment and most isnt cheap. just wanna be secure in my little whorehouse im growing. gotta keep the ladies happy.
