I will be using BrandX polycross G13xWW-pollinated with Bubblegum seeds for my upcoming grow, so I decided to research the 3 strains.

http://www.seedsman.com/origins-of-g13

White Widow numerous seed companies sell WW and may have slightly differing characteristics http://sensiseeds.com/en/cannabis-se...el/white-widow

White Widow is known for its abundance of THC and high potency. Its bud glistens with a high volume of trichome crystals.

At first White Widow provides an euphoric and energetic type high. After a while, the high level of Indica in the strain causes a tiredness and "couchlock" that Indica is famous for.

White Widow is a smaller, more compact plant, and is suitable for growing both indoors and outdoors.or this indicating Sat dominant

There was a time when nothing could touch White Widow. There’s been quantum leap forward in marijuana genetics in the last 10 to15 years, but White Widow was once the Mia Ham of marijuana, and is still regarded as a heavy-weight contender. And she should be. White Widow has won more awards than Nelson Mandela, including the coveted Cannabis Cup in 1995. And in a field ripe with world-class buds, the Widow still stands tall. The big pine-cone buds are iridescent green pinstriped with orange hairs. At full bloom the buds are covered in a white coating of sugary sativa trichomes. It’s an experience for the White Widow rookies. White Widow thrives indoors, but does well outdoors, too. The bouquet is skunky with undertones of spice. The high is pure sativa psychedelica, a pulsing, high-energy cerebral effect.

Bubblegum copied from marijuana Compare site

The original Bubble Gum is from the US. In the 1970’s it had the name Indiana Bubble Gum. It has been taken to Amsterdam during the 1990's where a stabilized strain was developed and was named Bubble Gum.

If you grow the Bubble Gum properly it will, according to its name, fill the entire house with a bubble gum aroma. Even when you smoke the plant you will taste a little bit of bubble gum.

The plant offers nice, dense and frosty buds. The plant height can be considered short 90 cm -120 cm (3-4 feet). The yield for this strain is medium. The strain is extreme potent with THC levels reaching up to 30%. While growing the plant can get a reddish color.

Bubble Gum is widely known to be the best tasting strains and logically has won the High Times Cannabis cup for 4 times.

When did bubblegum ever test around 30% thc? That's an insane number which is BS IMO,I smoked the original in Amsterdam, forget the cafe that claims it though....anyways wasn't that strong, flow (Dutch ak47?) fucked me up way more

How is poly doing anyways pet? Never comes around anymore

PSU, Poly is in-between stages of life, so...

Pics or it didn't happen, Right? Well, the G13 beast is blowin my mind, and the rest are doing pretty good, too. That's her in pic #1 at ~ 2 o'clock

There are a few chinks in using the HHs over 3 plants. It's hard to get the nutes close to the main stalk without pushing the stem aside

I find it necessary to raise the main feeder tube up highr than the Rings, otherwise the drops do not make it to the ends of the rings

Someone asked about this on another thread, but I forgot to comment, so in case you are subbed...

No white spots here, other than a bit of mineral residue from foliar spray. I add a few drops of PHS (Pink Himalayan Salt) for the minerals. When it dries sometimes the minerals collect

Leafs only look light green under the leds. See my last thread for that 411

Here's my new version of Flooming Rez using HH Ring + 160 gph pump

A little hard to see but on the right hand side water is cascading over the lip splashing into the water line

Rez Energizer.jpgRE Closeup.jpg

I picked up a second Cree 4000K, so 2 @4000K +1 @3000K + one 12w WW RP Philips + 80w of tubes. 2 tubes are just above the bottom of the globes, the other 2 are higher up in the tent only because I need to get another pulley

and for Chronikool a partial weigh in. Pretty dry, took to a friend I owe. The rest has been in a large paper bag hangin in the closet since 8/26

The shorter babies have definitely responded to lowering the lights. Seems the sweet spot was just out of their reach

This Flooming Rez, this is not for growing in is it? I am a little lost as to what you got going there in the pics, I am new to hydro but I want to follow your grow as yours babys are just a week or two older then mine.

PICOG,

You certainly could do a single bucket grow with it. I am doing so with my reveg, but I developed it with outboard rez in mind. I am getting ready to move the reveg out of my small tent. Will take pics once it is reset

reveg lost a bit due to me over-trimming her roots + no direct light most of yesterday. She is now by herself upstairs, but not for long the way the babies are growing

Since babies are growing so fast I took a couple pics- the close up is the Beast. Let's call her Sophia

With Revg out of the way, I had room for my rez + HH Floom + RR set up

a bit hard to see the water cascading back into the rez, creating turbulence which breaks surface tension + oxygenates the rez.

Rez gets covered to keep light out

OK the final energy tweak is magnets. Until I get the plants into the net pot lids there is no way to place them. And I 'need 6 per plant, that adds up, but...

I think I can accomplish the same result for all plants by passing the feeder tube (as it comes out of the riser) through 2 opposing force magnets.

I did this to both set ups at 6pm

Pics tomorrow

This is the genetics and back story on seeds Polyarcturus sent me

Not my area of expertise. Anybody care to chime in?

bubblegum female, X blue cheese #2 x bubblegum male, which makes it a first generation backcross (bx1)

Bc#2 x bgum is the F1 male I made by crossing those 2 strains then I crossed it back with bgum

G13 x seeds cracked on 8/6: WH x started later, cracked on 8/9

Alas, beta led not ready for me, probably a few weeks

Due to fast growth, I need to move 3 of the babies to the HOT5 tent ASAP. Starting with 2 Quantum Grow bulbs + 2 UVL Aquasuns

I ordered 2 more HH Rings, + 2 @ 250 gph pumps. Hopefully order will be here Friday.

Also need another 15g tote for upstairs rez to be 100%

I may cobble something together in the mean time

Aww nice, so I think yours are about 2 weeks older then mine. How long did it take you to switch to hydro or have you always done it this way?

Due to fast growth, I was running out of room on the yellow tray, forcing me to get busy setting up the HH system upstairs, along side the Reveg plant, which was a single bucket HH system.

I had to reduce Reveg to a simple bubble system for now, as I needed the HH Ring and pump for the 2 babies, which are currently without the Flooming Rez until the pumps and HH Rings get here

So, the LED tent with yellow tray is full HH + Flooming Rez, while upstairs HH is sans Floom for a few days.

Sigh, the led panel I am scheduled to receive won't be ready for a while

At the moment I am lighting upstairs with one @ 4ft Quantum Grow bulb + one UVL Aquasun. I will double up lighting in a couple days.

PICOGRAV I've been pumping hydro for ~ 4 years, first drip, then fog, then hpa for 5 grows, then my DIY mist system, and now HH 2.0 + Flooming Rez

I so wish I was there to watch this take place! Maybe you could see if they offer special high power output drivers that are a lot more efficient then a bunch of little ones, unless you want the individual control per two modules. If you specify the PWM drivers they might be able to be digitally controlled in intensity, then you could have them all link up to a control computer with software taking heaps of data points like temp and pH and factor it all into the lighting!

I think I'm just to excited lol
I already have that with some of my lights I have made.. I use a 'Reef Angel' controller to control everything, or use a Typhoon controller to just control lighting schedules/intensities.

Oops, sorry, didn't realize I was on page 1 when I hit reply. ;)
