Pachysandra terminalis- keeping it stealthy

Just thought I would share my method of using what's around me to keep my plants on the stealthy side. I've learned over the years what types of vegetation hide MJ plants most effectively. So far, it's the Pachysandra terminalis plant that seems to do the best job for me. Although this particular strain of Sativa seems a bit bluer compared to the Pachysandra, most of my plants blend right in, especially when they go to flower. I've had people walk within a couple feet of my plants and never them. These shots were taken a few days ago so I still have a little time yet before they really start to fill out and blend well. I keep the plants in five gallon buckets painted green. I sink the buckets into the soil almost to the top of the bucket. I do this so I can remove the plant in case of any unforeseen issues arise. It's also nice to be able to remove them in case of severe weather or frost during flowering in the fall. I can simply pull the plants and buckets out of the ground and move them to the garage if need be. Works for me...STEALTH1.jpgSTEALTH2.jpgSTEALTH3.jpgSTEALTH4.jpg

Vegging is the easy part :)

i missed it the first time looking at the pic. Zeroed right in to the center, I thought they were all very convincing mj look-Alice's.
if the plant was in a different spot in the pic I probably would have taken a few seconds to see it.

healthy looking garden anyway,

Yea, this will be a challenge when the buds start poking out. Last year, I tied my plants down pretty good even into flower as an experiment to see if I could really hide them. It worked, I hid them well but the yield suffered from the abuse. I still pulled a couple ounces from the harvest but it could've been better. This year I'm just going to let it go by itself. The flowers on the Pachysandra look just like a MJ plant in very early flower. After the buds get a little longer it's almost impossible to hide but this is as close as I have come to hiding plants in plain sight.

The best plant to camouflage cannabis is spider flower or Cleome. The leaves are identical. Also, what do you do when the plants start flowering and how do you disguise the smell?

There can be a down side to other plants looking like cannabis, they make your plot look much larger... ;) been there. Laying screen/fence down and staking it allows you to bend branches down low and tie them to it. (Makes your plants "ground cover") Covering the screen with mulch or debris can be equally important. (Of course, simply staking branches works, just not always as easy) Train through vegg and first few weeks into flower. Gl.

I have only two plants in this little garden, only one in the pic. I've never been overwhelmed with smell because I don't plant more than two in this location. I grow strictly for my own consumption so just a couple plants is enough for me.
