Hey I didn't know where to put this so I am putting it here. Anyone know anything about cannabinoids? I mean I keep seeing seeds get stronger and stronger with THC because it is already so active in cannabis, and also, I know they are starting to add CBD and make it more active in some seeds at popular seed banks. But, there are 82 different cannabiniods in cannabis and I am sure some of them are really effective in different ways. I know a lot of research has been going into this as of late, but excluding researchers and the science community, do they have breeders who specialize in this?
A high cbd and thc is cool but anybody go real deep into it? Ill be checking it out; just got the idea, and was just wondering if anyone here knew about this.
I just looked this up they have THCV for example,
Brief:
A psychoactive cannabinoid found along with THC in cannabis, research has shown that, in low doses, THCV will increase the effects of THC (strongly potentiating THC, provoking a heavy, stronger and faster High-effect) but in larger doses THCV is believed to oppose the effects of THC. Recent research into THCV has focused on its ability to reduce appetite.
This could be beneficial if breeders tried to increase and tested for this. I've even heard that there are gardening techniques that can affect diffirent cannabnoids differently.
Oh they seem to have cannabinoid profiles on some of the seeds on seedfinder that are real descriptive.
Should be....you can put you hands on them right...my t5's don't get hot at all. They already have a relatively low lumen/uvb output, don't hinder them any more with those covers. If they burn your leaves just trim off what touches,no biggie.peaceYeah, leaves on the bulbs. Cool enuff?
Ok thanks, I will pull them off today. How do your self watering buckets work?Should be....you can put you hands on them right...my t5's don't get hot at all. They already have a relatively low lumen/uvb output, don't hinder them any more with those covers. If they burn your leaves just trim off what touches,no biggie.peace
I posted pics and a brief explanation of how I use the self-watering 5g buckets inOk thanks, I will pull them off today. How do your self watering buckets work?
Can't believe we're almost at the end of July. Time flies when your gardening.
Alright, the fluros are easy to move around, so I will keep playing with them. It sounds like I need to position them to hit the top of the SCROG more than the under side?my plants can stay a 1/4 of a inch from my T5HOs with out any problems, tho they do a lot better if I keep em about 2-4" away
and I did once have a plant that grew up in to em for hrs, they did get kind a burned, well no fire, but leaves got dry and died of, no problem plant grew fine afterwords, just make sure they don't actually touch em, maybe raise em just above your scrog horizontal on 3 of the 4 sides cept the door ? to take care of the corners ?
Can't believe it, RIU search actually worked this time! Thanks for the info. Very interesting setup.I posted pics and a brief explanation of how I use the self-watering 5g buckets in MISSPHOEBE'S thread....Question.If MJ roots love Oxygen so much why not...........?.......if you care to look.By comparison I usually have better yeilds than most when I use the self-watering 5g buckets and i use cfls
First two important tips: don't actually 'weave' the branches in the net, just bind them down to it, and don't bind too tight so the branch can thickenAll the pics I see of SCROGs I never can see what's going on underneath. Weave the branches so that the mains are stretched to the side and bring the sides branches straight up the center.
Anyone have photos of their scrogs to share? That would help to see what I'm doing.
