A cop "just had to search me for weapons even thought he already agreed with me that I was in no was related to the case he was involved in, and I was in no way a threat.....basically he's a bitch
"I do not consent to searches" "Am I being detained" "I wish to speak with my attorney"First thing you say is, "I'd like to have an attorney represent me.", Then you say nothing else. Ever. (Except to your attorney)
I had 1.2 grams, a pipe to smoke it, and a grinder in Minnesota at Moir park 5 minutes after closeWhat state ? What you charged with ?
I kept telling him I didn't want him to search me. I actually got him to verbally agree that he didn't have a reasonable reason to search me."I do not consent to searches" "Am I being detained" "I wish to speak with my attorney"
These are the things I have been instructed by my attorney to respectfully say in case I need them. If you are suspected of having a weapon you can and will be patted down however.
Break only 1 law at a time. Keep it simple.I had 1.2 grams, a pipe to smoke it, and a grinder in Minnesota at Moir park 5 minutes after close
No end thread/End Thread.
You let him search you anyway?I kept telling him I didn't want him to search me. I actually got him to verbally agree that he didn't have a reasonable reason to search me.
LOL Ive repeatedly said "I choose to invoke my 4th amendment to be free from unreasonable searches of myself and my belongings, I choose to invoke my 5th amendment right to remain silent, do not ask me any questions, I choose to invoke my 6th amendment right to have an attorney of my choice present immediately". Not only did I wind up in handcuffs getting searched they continued to hammer me with questions even though I repeatedly told them I want an attorney. Might as well pull out a copy of the constitution and piss on it infront of me. As much as it sucks not all cops go by the books. As far as the OP goes, if the cop told you he didn't have any reason to search you, I would have said "I wish to be free to go and cease this contact immediately" that way it could be argued in court by your attorney that there was no probable cause and you where held against your will. You let him search you anyway?
None of those are good reasons to voluntarily give up any of your rights.LOL Ive repeatedly said "I choose to invoke my 4th amendment to be free from unreasonable searches of myself and my belongings, I choose to invoke my 5th amendment right to remain silent, do not ask me any questions, I choose to invoke my 6th amendment right to have an attorney of my choice present immediately".
