Your branch got severed, and received fewer nutrients for transport(not more) resulting in a buildup of sugars causing anthocyanin pigments to develop, producing a purple color in the area

I wasn't trying to come off as a deuche althor but your right. I don't put my location for this very reason and also wont post pics. Its personal preferences but I mean everything I say is a lie anyway. I'm a compulsive liar who wouldn't dream of growing the illegal and illusive pot plant lol. Granted police aren't so concerned with a small tent when I don't even sell my herb just personal smoke. I did laugh when the op said that none of us could have good jobs because we grow weed lol but I'm done on this one lol made my peace

bonsai is aplied to a species of tree that grows in asia, the point is to get the disired shape you want, tieing down branches is like bonsai , but not entirely, sense its not a midget tree, it continues to grow, your root thing is beyond me.
