Hey Buck...
I have never traveled to detroit to buy a truck and I wont have to travel to tenn to buy a truck......Thier has been dealerships near my house for a very long time...I believe that toyota builds trucks in tenn and that is what I will buy when I go shopping..
People that are from oregon don't have to pay sales tax...A little while back I bought 16k worth of motorcycle parts from washington and no sales tax..All I had to do was show proof like my ODL and paid no sales tax....anyway its no big deal if car manufacturing states want to play politics they will end up like the dixie chicks..IMO

Aside from all the slander, I for one think it is absolutely horrible on every fucking level that an American city has to declare it is broke.
Just a few short generations ago, it would have not been allowed to happen, there would have been something done, but alas, we have become such a greedy, manipulated, unethical, immoral, jaded and above all else, complacent society and seem to be okay with it.
Sad days are ahead for sure. I am hitting the big 50 this year and I feel that in just a couple of more generations they will see the collapse of this Nation and things will be as they are no more.
I sure as hell hope I am wrong, but if it does come to pass, I will have already become a regular at the great smoke out in the sky.

i wonder why so many people choose to move to these places when there are so many other cheaper rent, lower tax locales they could choose to move to.

People use to walk thousands of miles in search of a better life when shit didn't work, for whatever reason, in their current locale.
