I've gotta say, I have been insanely impressed with my diy carbon filter.How has the smell been for you? If possible, answer objectively?
When I open the box, you've only gotta get your face a foot away and you can smell a really rich buddy stink. A completely give away smell that you're growing something that isn't always on the right side of legal. If I leave the side panel off for half an hour, then the room can get a bit of a weed smell to it, I did notice that the other week, I walked into the room with the box and it hit me. BUT, I had left the side off for about an hour, so that's to be expected.
With the panel back on, even considering I have multiple light-leaks all around, so potential smell-leaks too. I don't smell a thing. And to top it off, my gf hasn't mentioned any smell either. Now this is just a cheap, regular size, pc fan, pushing through a carbon filter pretty similar to the EZ Walmart (sp?) one that's recommended to me eariler in the thread. It's nothing special. The fan grunts a bit each morning as it attempts to start up with a little more pressure infront of it than it expects, but it evens out within 20secs, and it's a dream all day. If I put my nose up against the filter, I can't smell anything other than slightly warm air.

I'll try and get some pics up later. It's all goin well thanks m8, she's lovin the light, gettin watered every 3-4 days, and now and again I trim off just a touch of bud to dry n smoke, so it's keeping the cash away from my dealer too!
The only minor prob is the smell. It's getting intense. Don't get me wrong, the carbon scrubber is doing a 100% spot on job. But if I have the panel off for even ten mins whilst I'm watering/LSTing her, then the whole room hums of weed. Might have to invest in some Fabreeze

hey mewk looking good m8, luv the close ups, I must say I`ve been so tempted to snip a little 
but if I start I`ll have nothing left come harvest, even the misses egged me on. there is light at the end of the tunnel though, I thought the flowering time to harvest was from when she first showed pistils but i have since read its from when 12/12 starts, this now means will probably harvest middle of july instead of at the end of the month. keep up the good work m8, good luck and happy growing

Day 69 (Approx Day 29 of flower)
Time to release her from her bondage. Here she is, struggling under a mass of ethernet cable.
Five minutes of complete freedom.
Back under the lights, with just a couple ties now. One holding down the main branch (on the right) and the other just keeping the biggest of the side branches from reaching for the skies.
No problems. No nutes. Just plain bottled water.
Take it easy,

Thanks man, that's nice to hear. I keep looking at all the other pc grows, then I look at my girl, and she looks like a train wreck. So a pair of unbiased eyes are always welcome!Oh man.
