You do know that many of those "97%" say they were misquoted? Your "obvious correlation" isn't really all that obvious. And claiming that colder temperatures don't mean it isn't getting warmer isn't even worth addressing.

This last winter was a joke. One storm, I cleared my driveway 4 times, that's it. It was +13C in Febuary instead of -30C, no snow in March, we didn't get any snow until mid-December, it rained every winter month, and the big lakes never completely froze over. And I live somewhat North of fucking Minnesota. Go find some Old-Timers and ask them how todays winters compare to when they were kids. Todays winters are shorter, warmer, and a lot less snow. Shithead deniers, you probably think that the Earth is flat and oil is a renewable resource.

So, it being colder in one area doesn't mean anything, but it being warmer in another does count? Ask those Old-Timers which they prefer. In 10 to 20 thousand years, we'll be in another ice age. I like it warm. Why should I give a fuck about someone else's beach front property?
