First is Liberty Haze, second is Kolossus:
28.jpg29.jpg

Now that I'm closing in on the end of the cycle and can comfortably say that Liberty Haze SUCKS. 10 seeds, only 5 germed, and only 1 good pheno (the huge plant). The rest just sucks and clearly shows it's far from being a stable strain:

First leaf is from Sativa-dom, second is from the worst plant I've grown, even compared to outdoor  (and both leaves are from same position on plant, near the top.)

Remove quite a few of these (from that one plant) just to give space to real buds:
24.jpg

Looks nice under the scope though, way more frosty than the fatter buds.
IMG_0309.jpg

I removed the spreader because it worked too well, was not getting enough heat/light to lower part of buds/canopy, so settled for some heatstress just straight below the bulb.

Sorry to hear about the LH man. I've learned that anything haze is risky, but if you find "the one" that its very rewarding. I had terrible luck with several Haze hybrids because they're just stretch insane amounts and have incredibly long finish times. The only Haze I have now is Super Lemon Haze which was clone from solid pheno. I did have a very nice Deep Purple x Haze that was very nice and quite bulky for a haze hybrid. The worst was Super Silver Haze. Holy shit that stuff had a nasty stretch. Like 500%, I wrapped the branching around the base of the bucket 2 or 3 times and I still couldn't manage her and her fruits were airy and slow producing.

Looks very good to me in there, keep up the good work!

Sounds a bit like the one I have on the left, bend around the corner. It looks like a sativa that someone just plucked from a mountain, slim, long, airy and clearly is going to need longer than the others.

I smoked LH a couple of times at Barney's in Amsterdam and I like both the effect and taste, but obviously they too clone from a solid pheno rather than planting seeds. I think there's some bad luck involved as well, I've seen LH grows online with more stable results, up to great even.

I got these for my next round.

Now that I know I don't need nor can lift the pots to check the roots once they get big I'm going to LST heavily next round. Still working out ideas as an alternative to scrog net and binding to the pots. I could bind them to the pipes/trays but I'd still like to lift the pot in the early stage even if it's just for root porn pics :) Leaning towards sort of metal baskets around (on top of) the pots, clamped to the trays bu removable, for both support (a missing feature in my current setup) and LST. I'd basically be able to lift the pot+basket+LST-ed plant as a whole.

And thanks for the positive words, much appreciated! :D

Planted 6 new seeds today (2x Kolossus from Sannie , 2x Skywalker Kush from DNA Genetics, 2x Chocolate Fondue also from DNA Genetics) AND made 4 cuttings from the Kolossus I still had. Partly for practice (did two already, one is in the bottle in the pic), partly as backup.

Not sure yet what I'm going to do with the rest of her, she germinated on the same day as the Kolossus above. Cropped her for fun, will keep her while I have space.

I should have some Supercropping & Canopy control updates for my next round in about a month or so :leaf:

No, is going to be first time DNA Genetics. I actually wanted to go for their Chocolope (9 week haze) earlier this year but the DNA Genetics shop was always closed when I got there. A few weeks ago I finally made it to Amsterdam before they close (18:30).

OG18 x Skunk sounds like a winner :eyesmoke: Skunk #1 is the first stable 'Nederwiet', crossed with OG Kush... that's like having two of the best classics of two worlds. Nice choice. I picked the Skywalker OG for similar reasons, from seedfinder.eu:

"This is NOT a cross with Dutch Passion Skywalker. It is the CLONE-ONLY "Skywalker OG" from California crossed with DNA Genetics "OG #18". This was stated by a rep from DNA Genetics."

I'm trying to score a bottle of Tiresias Mist (found one who ships from the US to NL but the shipping is three times the price of the bottle...) so I can cross the two DNA genetics strains I have now with one or more strains from probably Sannie (hopefully the new Sugar Punch) so I hopefully end up with some great Cali x Netherlands crosses I can grow for the next several years.

How's it going so far? Oh wait I see you have a link in your sig - checking out now :D

I have mixed emotions about them right now, still early in flowering but its my 1st run at these, previously I grew DNA's Pure Afghan (the free beans I got from them for ordering the OG18 x Skunk). Those sucked and I was really disappointed but what kept my chin up was that they were free for a reason. They looked great but lacked bigtime in resin production. I got to fish up some pics of the DNA Pure Afghan if ya like.

I think its time for me to post some Sup Crop love!!! Its been about 2 weeks since I posted a pic of my outdoor which gets sup crop on a daily basis, yes everyday something on that plant gets pinched!

Peace

Sorry to hear about the Pure Afghan. And sure pics are always welcome :) I rather have they don't give freebies at all than stuff I waste months on growing. I hope your OG Skunk is going to turn out better. Indeed to soon to tell based on your day 21 flowering pics in your thread.

The Skywalker Kush I got is from Reserva Privada by the way, not from DNA self.

6 seeds in the spongepots in propagator for 24 hours, no sign of life yet. Last time had 2 Kolossus popping up in a day. I hate this stage... especially after the germination results of BF's Liberty Haze (50%).

I think its time for me to post some Sup Crop love!!!
Yes 8-) Calling all supercroppers, post your pics!

Oh I wish I had a plant.. err.... I mean "tree" like that to pinch every day. :D Great job on the cropping man, I look forward to seeing the huge ball of bud it's going to turn into.
