Opening the jars still spreads a weed smell throughout the basement. But up close it smells almost like orange.

Not as pleasant of an orange as Northern Lights was tho.

pie i wanted to ask, inoticed u said u havent been smoking, likley because of the pregnancy obviously lol. may i ask, have you partook in any edibles? u might want a 100 percent natural birth which is awesome, i just hate how people take all these crazy fucked up drugs while pregnant, drink, smoke ciggs and who knows what other psych meds people take when they are preggo and then when they hear weed they act like its the fucking devil while theyre popping theyre cymbalta and prozac, drinking wine and smoking newports...smart people u know lol

I wouldn't have edibles during my preg or nursing.

1. There are not enough studies on the effects of marijuana on the infant brain.

2. Even if it was safe, I have no idea how to make edibles and would prob fuck it up. lol

3. I fucked up the drying on my last harvest and lost over half of it to white mold. So...yeah.

damn that sucks about the mold :( oh well tho it happens fuck it. i agree their are not enough studies done on marijuana and infants and i agree me and my sons mother agreed to not let her take anything other than pre-natals during pregnancy. i like how you see it, thats the right way, i wish you the best of lucky with your little baby :) i love little babies

Yes, I was definitely stressed about the mold. I was hoping to have some Super Cured bud after breastfeeding was over to partake of. Prob will be none left now.

Soon as I can I will start another seed. Just have to wait until mother is not staying with us anymore (she will be staying a few days after birth to help out.) and I am able to have a functioning brain again. lol

Good questions dude, but IMO, Pie is right, no edibles even while B-feeding, she wouldn't want a high baby to quit breathing or something.;-)

mine wasn't that strong smelling while growing. now that i have it drying, it is strong, so i put it in my grow box with the fan running to cover it up.

A bit of bad news. One of my jars developed small white fuzz mold on a few buds. All buds touching the moldy bud were seperated and will be disposed of. The other buds were inspected under microscope and quarenteened in a new jar.

I will be checking over next couple of days and burping ALL my jars for safety measures.

Made my heart jump in my throat to see it. I will know in a few days if I caught it in time.

On a positive note, my hubby tried some weed (from a clean jar. no mold present) and said it was wonderful. Very smooth and a nice high.

Apparently, when it is cooler that 65 degrees, the drying happens alot slower. So I need to take into account the temperature of my dry room next time.

It would of been fine if I had checked it more often, but I was more focused on helping hubby with clearing out the rock garden and cleaning the baby room.

I fucked up. Would of had over 3 ounces of good weed.

I wish I had a pic to share.

I think I was screwed when I put the bud into the jars before the stems snapped. Then I only burped for 1-2 hours a day for 4-5 days (not enough time to dry it out the rest of the way) and then I kept it shut for 3 days while I helped while I helped with outdoor gardening.

Hopefully someone else will benifit from seeing this. It is better to have weed that is a bit too dry, then a bit too wet. Cause once mold starts, you CANNOT stop it.

dry weed can be reconstituted. wet moldy bud is toast.

yea u gotta make sure the bud is totally dry before jarring, ive had the same thing happen, a nice trick ive learned is this, put them in jars when u think they are dry and leave them for 24 hrs, then look inside the jar, if there is condensation or fog on the jar ts to soon. its to soon, if u open the jar and the bud is like wet feeling its to soon, if you open the jar and smell immediate 'ammonia' like smell, ithats the begining of mold, it will smell like ammonia and then 15 hrs later u got spider webs.it happens but u can combat it, if u have to put a RH gauge inside the jar with ur plants, anything over 60% humid in the jar and mold will happen. good luck
