I was a a family memebers house and didn't know they were smoking crack. I borrowed a metal bowl to smoke some herb I got from a friend. I was about 18 at the time. Anyway I smoked and didn't go down. Instead my heart raced and my mind scrambled. I was scared as fuck. That's when I found out what was happening from one of the adults there that didn't realize what piece I was smoking out of. He said it must have had residue in it. So I always assumed I smoked crack that night.

LOL, of course i didn't tell him it was homegrown, they didn't even bother with what it was, they said it was going to be 420 soon so the 2 roomates wanted to buy some, my coworker already got what he wanted at arrival basically. i'm taking classes in college in a city 30-40 miles from my actual apartment/grow room so i'm just living with fellow students atm so no grow op with me. been here since around late January semester ends in may and i'm back to growing. the city life is nice and all but the crowds of folk you can meet in NYC seem to vary wildly. I wouldn't/haven't ever socialized or been in a smoke session with a up and coming crackhead, i can't explain how ridiculous the whole situation became the moment he showed up, nonchalant talking about crack and comparing it to herb. one thing i learned was to never oversell my product, because that to me would be suspect if i were buying herb its a sign that the person probably grew it.

reminds me when my friend put "spice" in a blunt and didn't tell me. it was so dissociative my mind was running and it felt like i was stuck in the early stages of a mushroom trip(the uncomfortable mental state) for like 2-3 hours. spice is another POS that gets its way around yet nobody knows what it is exactly.

i knew someone that got hooked on gear by smoking joints, her b/f would roll joints and say hash was in it, but he was lacing it with brown. About 2 months later he told her and tried to pimp her out.

no, his friends heard what he said and questioned him, at that time i simply wanted to backhand him, stupidity and disregard for common courtesy like that gets me mad, i just went over to my coworker who was reading up on the live feed on reddit, reading about the dude who got caught in the bombings "suspect #2". all of us were talking about human psychology, and how difficult it is to really tell if someone is a psycho and how psychos have a knack for getting people(weaker people) to listen and follow them. the roomates of said coworker who i assume(including coworker) were friends of the Dbag who was basically running his mouth off about random shit and talking about how the weed didn't make him cough like that fucking matters, tried to explain that it has a bit of a delay like 5 mins before it really kicks in since its landrace and the dude brought up crack making him cough, i was done talking to him or acknowledging him by that point, tried ignoring him but since the roomates were pestering him about being a fucking up-and-coming crackhead he wanted to continue our convo despite me completely ignoring him. got to the point where i was either going to get physical or leave, and so i left. i got my money's worth anyway and by the time he arrived we smoked 2-3 blunts and i put down one, so i was sort of laughing as i walked back home thinking about how they were going to deal with that dumbass.

something nobody has ever said this to me up until yesterday, fucking killed the smoke sesh i was taking part in and ended up becoming an intervention. i didn't know the kid but i can't fucking stand it when people bring up depressing shit when smoking in a group. do that some other time if you want to vent, find a forum online. wasted good weed on a druggie who couldn't even appreciate it, fucker said my bud "wasn't that good" and commented shortly after with the above statement.

anyone else have experiences like this, it totally made me re-evaluate some of my acquaintances/coworkers who i had been smoking with, listening to their reasoning and advice made me want to walk off.

shit like this must happen to others all the time, but i almost exclusively smoke with 4-6 other friends like myself so these topics never come up because we have stuff to talk about.

Far as I can see he was lucky. Almost 2 decades ago I had a run in with the crack deamon after someone I trusted convinced me its not so bad. Spent half my salary that night... and it was hell for the next few months until I went cold turkey to this day. Asshole who got me into it, lost his wife, job, new house and two kids....

So, the kid made a mistake, be glad he came out ok, and rather than push him out (probably back to the asshole who gave him crack), try and pull him in, show him what's what in a subtle way that is more lifechangeing than bitching someone over small shit.
