if you mean Kelloggs patio plus then yeah i definitely recomend. i just mix it with pro-mix, throw in some worm castings and its actually a really affordable mix that works well. a little bit woody, but its not too much. use it

Who makes pro mix? Home depot or lowes has it? how much is it? and just use pro mix + kellogs that's all?

lowes has it, 45 for 3.8 compressed cu. ft. or you can make it with peat moss, perlite and spray-n-gro coco wet. i like to add some screened compost, earthworm castings, bat guano to make it a little more rich

my lowes doesnt have promix, only my local hydro shops, and good idea about making your own promix, I considered doing it this year but after a little more research found peat itself is quite acidic, unless mixed with lime and given adequate time to adjust it wont do. If you have a few months ahead of time to try and regulate itll work, but not on short notice

yeah i think it's 5.4 or something. ive done it a few times, same thing as pro mix. i just take apart the bale abit and put in a 5 gal bucket let it sit for an hour, mix it with mud mixer, drain the water, throw in a good amount of lime and refill with ro. and let that sit for an hour and then drain it and let it dry in the sun on a tarp used to mix soil. its $43 to make 5 cu ft of it with a lot of left over lime and coco wet if you use it

On my third year using Patio Plus...I think this is the first year they've listed it as "Organic" though. Also mixed in some Kellogg's organic products as amendments.

I picked up some 3cf bales of Kellogg's Organic potting mix, $8 each at home depot. I mixed in perlite, worm castings, blood meal and bone meal. The raw Kellogg's is a bit woody IMO, but it evens out real nice with a healthy dose of worm poo. So far my veggies are loving it, I think my cannabis plants will love it when I transplant them.

I'm currently using Ednas and it's great. I use it straight out of the bag. I've done the same with Fox Farm Ocean Forest, just straight from the bag. I start my seeds directly in soil and have never had any problems with either on being too hot or anythings. I've used Kellogs for my tomatoes and peppers in the past and can't see why it couldn't be used for cannabis as well.

I'm using kelloggs patio plus right now, works great. Plants are 5 weeks into flowering and doing fantastic. I'd mix in some extra perlite and alfalfa meal
