Thanks for making this thread Heedtreep! Discussion is a great thing brother!I started this thread get some good conversation going and give the public a little info. Glad to see things progressing. We are on the same damn team!!!! Rrog don't wanna ACT, cool with me hehe....
My buds over here looking like small fat bastards! I'm in on the secret!I have not read this entire thread, so maybe this has been said...
Compost tea is the "secret ingredient" use by growers of vegetable monstrosities like baseball-sized Brussels sprouts and 1,000-lb pumpkins.... Another gardening niche that's focused on oranically supercharging plants....
..What do you mean? It's a secret, all right.
Ha! Right you are. I'll amend. Can't we all get along post followed by snark. Playing both sides of the field?
Check the organic soil link out in my sig and get back to me with your questions boss! What kind of recipe are you using for your teas Sincerely? Just EWC and molasses?
Sneak dissin is the new cool! Can't you see already lol.
the kelp and the alfalfa can slow things up a bit, so if I were you I'd cut the amount of kelp I added in half bro.My ACT recipe is:
1 cup Malibu compost
1 Cup EWC
1/2 Cup Alfalfa
1/4 cup Kelp
50-60 ML Molasses
1 tsp Glacial Rock
1/4 TSP TM-7
I bubble that for 24 hours then add
25 ML of Potekt
50-100 ML Ful Power
1/2 cup Aloe Vera juice
No threads going.. I only used this recipe this past grow I have only had a couple of organic harvests ( hydro guy for years) .. I grew White Fire OG and I didnt notice anything out of the ordinary. What I'm trying to say is I'm the most knowledgeable organic guy just learning from various threads and web sites..I didnt notice any nute burn or anything like that. At first I used too much alfalfa and kelp, and was told by you guys to cut back so I did. How much kelp do you recommend ?? I'm about to start another grow in the coming days. I'm all ears so any tips or honest criticism is welcome. I forgot to mention I use the Cap Bennies too.. Nute , root , and Foilar.. I'm thinking about stopping that shit because those fools charge too much for their bennies..the kelp and the alfalfa can slow things up a bit, so if I were you I'd cut the amount of kelp I added in half bro.
im also guessing your brewing by the 5 gal? If so it looks a little heavy...
How have ur results been?
maybe I can up my ant if u have good results!
i had a bad experience using too much molasses as well..used in excess in the teas, it has the potential to be very nute rich!
And I wonder how the also works for the leaves from the inside out??
Got any threads going?
Yas!!!!!!!!!!!Is Ful Power a humic acid?
Yes 5 gallon bucket with a few air stones.. Using a good ol' powerful air pump... Cut all the ingredients in half? Thanks by the way.Brewing in a 5 gal bucket?!
and the lass wants to piff, so I'll be back to ya in a bit bro.
but as for as brief response and if ur brewing in a 5gal bucket, I'd cut the amounts in half.
i notice the difference always in the hours after I water..and I always try and water early in the morn!
