Just a quickie, stretch in progress, hopefully almost done! Stayed MOSTLY even in height so far, but there is definitely some variance as there's a couple spots that lagged behind and didn't shoot up... maybe they'll catch up...! Nice fat hairs starting to come in on the tops, though nothing that shows up in the group shots yet.

A little limper leafed than usual in this shot, they were ready for their drink. Usually they stand up like perky nips.


I've been mad lazy about pictures because I don't want to drag the plants out every time I photograph... really not much to show during veg anyway... I'm sure I'll be plenty encouraged to take them out for better pics in another couple weeks when I start seeing the buds form.

As you can see in the above if you look close, the division between the plants lends more space to the slightly older and more topped Raspberry coughs... since they're 16 heads each I gave them a little less than 5/8ths of the total space and the remainder is left for the C99's. It doesn't really change the amount of light exposure per plant, because the raspberries are really just taking over the space under the ballast box anyway... and it lets the raspberry coughs get the space they need to bush out nice and let all those heads have space to do their thing.

Meanwhile, the C99's (which are about 2 weeks younger and topped for only 8 colas each) I'm intentionally encouraging into rectangular arrangements to take up the parallel space nicely.

Seems like it is going to work out, space wise.

There is a TINY bit of waste space in the 'centers' between because the plants are parallel and not offset which would probably be better for filling in everything perfectly, but it's really not much of a loss, and the loss ends up under the ballast anyway so it's pretty much moot.

Haha... thanks man... after seeing that beauty you put up this past week I am really excited to see what that soil mix does for me in flowering!. Thanks a mil for encouraging me to go this route dude, I am really pleased with the health overall so far!

Ahhhh! Green until the very end bro! Your leaves are gonna stop taking up N in abundance around two weeks before harvest I say, so you should see it coming slowly but surely!
And no doubt bro, everyone should be on it! Easy, cheap, and all natural! The smoke doesn't compare bro...
Caregiver just brought over and eight of some DANK ass local grown Super Lemon Haze, and the ashes don't burn as white as my organic smoke, and the smoke isn't as smooth, even tho it's fresh Super Lemon Haze.

I think if ppl can't tell the different between non-organic and organic smoke, they have a terrible taste ability of weed haha! I feel like I have
that smoker tounge haha! Kinda like a wine taster for weed!
That why I know when it gets time to breed in about a year from now I'm gonna be STR8!

And damn I can't wait to taste her! Gonna be a spliffly 420 haha :joint:

Hey Sin, my good man... I wanna brew up another batch of tea, but kinda want to try something a little more flower-friendly now that I've flipped to 12/12... any tips or recipes for a good fungal-friendly brew? Or... should I still be more focused on bacterial growth this early in flower?

How much water you plan on brewing with brother?!
And def. wanna move towards balanced and fungally dominant!

I mix in a 5 gal bucket but I would say I only fill to 4 gal's... usually that's just about the right amount... what's left I give to the houseplants. :)

4 gals water:
Bubble it for like 2 hours before you put anything in it...

Go with:
1 cup of compost(or your soil mix if you don't have any compost. I picked up some Ancient Forest compost if you want a link for that..I live it so far)
1 tbsp Kelp Meal(good for a fungal brew, his in K and minerals)
1 tbsp Hi P Bat Guano(good to control bad nematodes, Hi in P and minerals
1tbsp Neptune Harvest(good for immediate N, and fungal brew)
1tbsp Mollasses(microbe food, good for K, iron, C, and other things)

I'd say use this as a base and mix it up from time to time, but don't deviate too far from the base.
For example, I don't always use the bat guano or the Neptunes harvest, but I always use the compost, kelp meal, and molasses.
Those are key tools.

After 12-24 hours the brew should be A LOT darker than it was when you started it. Thats how you know microbes mulitiplied.
It should also smell earthy. Not sweet or rotten.

The kelp and molasses will give a bit of a sweer smell, but thats cool

When you smell an over powering sweet smell, discard...If it ever doesn't smell right, jsut dont use it!
You'll be fine with water only!

What do you think of your eco 1 commercial pump? noise? cause I have to upgrade mine soon......awesome job so far and I love growers helping other growers do better; Sincerely has given nothing but great advice to you........+ rep to both of you.

Yes, Sincerely has been a great help! So lucky to have someone step up to offer so much help!

I thought the eco 1 was way too loud and vibratey, but I am trying to stay really stealth over here, so it might not be as big a deal to you... but the thing vibrated so much that even when I HUNG it from bungee cords, I could feel the vibration in the wall the cord was hooked on pretty damn strong... wasn't sure where I could put it that wouldn't cause me trouble so I just returned it and bought myself another petsmart pump, but this time I got the strongest one... total strength is only about a third of the eco 1, but it is doing the job effectively, I've gotten good results bubbling with it! I left my old one in too, just to reinforce it, and between the two it's been treating me right. And it's just as quiet as the really weak pump I already bought, so it's perfect for my needs in that sense.

Great, thanks a lot for the new recipe Sin, I will give it a go in a couple days...

Quick Q... I thought I read something on one of the ACT threads about how you should add some rock dust because it gives the hyphal knots a solid anchor upon which to form... heard anything about that? Did I dream that? haha, i have no idea! It seemed logical though so I remembered it...

i haven't really noticed a problem with the pumps they are a bit loud. but there are plenty of things you can do to quit them down, but honestly if your looking for quit the little blue ones are the way to go.

The kelp meal does that same thing bro! Provides surface area!

come learn what straw can do check out my latest update on my thread. kelp mean is nice but breaks down pretty fast. straw builds the soil as well as provides the area for fungi to harbor on.

Well, I'm trying to figure a tea, are you sayin you use straw in your tea mix too, or did you mean when mixing the soil? As far as soil, i can totally see straw as beneficial, as I come from a mycology background, and straw is an extremely effective method of propogating mycellium through manure. It's like a subway system for the mycellium... but too late for that now, haha. Maybe next run I will work some straw into the mix though...
