looking great man!! i think the yellowing is due to climate in those spots in the tent, the fan or humidity issue, do u have lower ventilation air coming in or coming from the top? not a major issue keep the b1 up another few weeks :) it could even be your light-spread, a few hot spots can cause similar i guess but mostly i think some more fresh air, you could leave the bottom of the tent open and if that increases leaf vigor fresh air will be the key :)

awesome work easty! cant wait to see them grow into sexy buds!!!

Thanks heaps man :D i am seriously loving this setup hey, so glad I chimed in to your original thread hey!!

Ive got 2 fans blowing up from underneath the canopy and i have one intake coming in over the top of the canopy. Theres one exhaust at the top of the tent plus 2 fans circulating inside. Ive got a hatch at the bottom that i could leave open actually which would get more fresh air in, I'll sort that out tomorrow :)

Cheers for you help as always man and I, like you, cant wait to see some sexy buds, she definitely looks so far like she'll have some serious trichs on her :D

No worries matey! Yeah i'd say open the hatch/es if you got them. The more the better it shouldnt compare to your intake. as long as you still see a suction coming in, but not so it looks like your tent poles are going to cave in but....

Hey dude Im glad you got her under control... that drooping and and clawing I was noticing seems to be on the mend :)
I agree with Flowa about the yellowing your seeing not being a deficiency. Bud structure looks very promising! The next few weeks should be a lot of fun to watch! I am interested though as to what your EC measurements are? I was looking at your reservoir recipe and although Ive never used CYCO to me that sounds like a TON of salts in there! Could be wrong though... things are looking up and thats what matters! Was wondering how high above your medium you put your screen? Im trying to fill this entire tent up to maximize space before I throw on the 1k Im thinking I should throw it in pretty soon and start tucking. Thanks. -20130402_194013.jpg20130402_194056.jpgS0uP

Cheers Soup :D between you, Flowa and Scroga, i should get this girl over the line!!

My EC is 1.6-1.8 and is the highest its been all grow, was 1.2 for most part. The cyco feed chart says i should be on 2 now but im not going to push it to that.

My scrog tray sits about 5 inches above my medium, a little lower than most would have but still manageable. If i had more height in my tent id go 6-7 inches to be safe.

My suggestion for yours is to start training them and tying them out now, the more you can spread them out earlier, the easier it will be to work out the height you need for the tray to sit. Also makes it a lot easier to get the tray on in the first place too :) i'll be doing the training a lot earlier next time!!

Thanks for the input easty! Had a feeling the time was right, plus once the plants start tucking Im gonna take some clones off the under carriage. Your EC sounds good personally thats as high as I ever go but still I thought it would be a lot higher with all those additives. When I had my big rooms I would run a trellis net over the girls at about 20" above either the soil beds or pots but that was for support as opposed to canopy control. This is definitely a learning run with this system. So far its been super easy though, I really like the sterile environment. -S0uP

No worries Soup, i appreciate your input as well :) i didnt believe the EC recommendations on the feedcharts but when i measured mine it seemed ok, was surprised too!

I used to be the same with the netting but it was also just to sustain the weight of the colas, im a big fan now of this scrog method but next time i'll train early and remove a lot more of the pissy little stems, i'll get a lot of popcorn buds this time! I cant wait to see how you do it too man, under a 1000w it should be awesome :D

Thanks man, time will tell....:? that tent is only 2.5'x2.5' so its roughly 200w/sqft!:lol: Ive done a test run for about 8 hours with the 1k HPS and was able to maintain temps so I'm hopeful to finish out the run with this setup. I do have other tents though and just talked my wife into letting me set the 5'x5' up in our bedroom (If you dont think you have to ask her, your new). Right now Ive got some T5's in there for some seedlings, and will be rooting the clones in there after they are taken off the Mastodon Kush, but to be honest I really want to see what can be done in a small space like that with that much light (I dont hardly ever see someone rocking a set up like that). I think if I can maintain canopy temp and humidity levels my results could work out better than in the 5'x5' ...More focused effort and reflection rates, dunno we will see. It is nice to know that I have a back up plan though. What do you reckon your gonna end up weight wise with the 6? (I know its bad mojo to count your chickens before they are hatched but .75g/watt isnt far fetched right?). Oh, I also got General Hydro to send me a sample of the floralicious plus so Im interested to see you or Flowa's application rates, success, and opinions of this product. I have so much crap laying around from years of trial and errror I have yet to decide what to run in bloom for these girls. It seems as though they really like the sauce and have been doing fine with 800ppm during veg, so we will see what I end up hearing them ask for, but am considering just running some Dyna gro bloom with minimum additives (Already high P-K content). If I decide to run an additive rich flower cycle I might run some AN connoisseur Ive got as a base and work up from there. Keep me posted as to your findings with the floralicious if you can man, thanks.-S0uP

Haha damn bro that's a lot of light per sqft hey. Even i'm pushing it with a 600w in a 1.5ft x 3ft but if you've got enough height to put the light up you should be fine. My 600 is sitting just on the recommended 60cm above the canopy, a 1000w will need at least 3ft...really keen to see you do it though dude, people said i was crazy with my setup but we'll see how she goes :D if i get .5-.75g/watt man i'll be very happy! Hard to tell though at this point. If you had your 1000 in the 5x5 you'd be sitting pretty much on perfect amount of light per foot!

Nice work on getting the floralicious hey, so far it has worked a treat in my setup, however i did have to take it out for a week and start back at half strength as it is potent shit. It's a good blend of hunic acids which help with uptake of macro nutrients so it is really good stuff. I'll be using it in all my grows from here on :D

800ppm sounds good for veg too, mine sat on about that for most of veg and seemed to work real well :) the only thing i would suggest is to get either some silica majik from flairform or silica from cyco and use it from start to finish, i hadnt realised how important it is until this grow and my outdoor sugar haze is looking amazing because of it too. The dyna gro should be good as base nutes too ;)

I wouldnt even consider an indoor grow without my Pro-Teckt Dude!!! Dyna gro is arguably the best product on the market, not for the money, I mean period. The pro-teckt is commercial grade silica at a lower price tier than its competitors (I mean look at that Rhino Skin crap) MUCH stronger shit. In truth you can use there Grow base as a complete food from start to finish and Ive heard of people using there foliar nute for the same thing (Though Ive never tried it myself). I do use a couple products from AN (Sensi Grow and Conni, Bud Candy as a foliar) but only if I feel like loading with additives that week, like PK solubles or the like. Ive been looking at some people using the FF PK boosters as stand alones during bloom and have been thinking combined with some silica and Humic that could be a real recipe for success as well. I really like Jacks professional also and would like the chance to run their Hydro/Cal nit combo From start to finish with the only additives being Proteckt and a Humic in the near future.... Funny man there are so many options for success... Ive got things I want to run that occupy my time for years to come! Part of the hobby I guess dude.-S0uP

Ah sweet as man, id forgotten all about the pro teckt, that will do the job very nicely.

Ive personally never used the gro tek products hey, i started off using the cheapest stuff and then went on to dutch master and then flairform. Ive always ha good sucess with all of them so never really looked much futher. The cyco range i will say has given me great results so far and if it keeps it awesome all the way through like flowas i'll stick with it for a bit i reckon :)

Sounds like you've done a great amount of research into nutes man, its good to see hey :D

Got the fence up easty!....Yours looks better and mine was a BITCH. Actually had my wife come in to check if I was okay cause I was yelling at the fucking thing. As to your recommendation I set it about 6" above my medium which gives me just under 3' clearance for the 1K. Also set them up with a bigger more stable RES today and backed off the PPM to just over 500 and no SILICA (think she was taking on a little much the past week). Take her easy. -S0uP20130404_213204.jpg

Sweet bro that looks pretty damn good hey :D it will definitely do the job nicely!!

My only reccendation with the 1000 is to flower after 2.5 weeks, mine has become massive after 3.5 under the 600 ;)

Really??? I was gonna wait for like 60% of that screen to be filled before I flip. These are a pre 98 bubba x Master Kush so Im not anticipating too much of a stretch, also I flower with the MH for the first 10 days to reduce the stretch and increase density of final product.-S0uP

Outdoor plant looking great. I will try scrog when my plants get healthy, First I have seen it work that good. Oh yea indoors look nice also!!

I dunno man, i wasn't expecting the amount of stretch from mine and she took up the whole tent very quickly. You do have a slightly bigger tent though and using the mh for the forst 10 days of flowering may help you out. 60% does sound like a good amount though. Next time i do it, i'll be veging for 2.5 weeks and will also try the mh trick as well, ive got way too many popcorn buds in my tent and theres almost no growth in the centre because of the way i trained and topped her :) all lessons learnt this time!!

Im seriously hanging to see yours under the 1000 too dude, i used one a while ago when growing organic and fuck the buds were do damn dense hey :D
